What helps you stay together when everything is falling apart?
*TMI Tuesday*
âHonestly, I donât think there is anything because Iâm falling apart now and I donât know how to keep the pieces together.â
What emotion do you experience the most?
*TMI Tuesday*
âNormally, I would say wonder but lately, all Iâve been feeling is sadness, guilt, and regret.â
I lost my dad to cancer, and before he died, I asked him to write âDaddyâs Little Girlâ on a piece of paper for me. I told him it was for an album. He practiced and practiced and then sent it to me, and I had it tattooed onto my wrist and surprised him with it. He cried when he saw it, happy tears. This way I always carry him with me.

What are you so incredibly terrible at, that youâve given up ever doing it again?
*TMI Tuesday*
âLying, definitely. Iâm just not good at it. But Iâll tell you one thing I am good at and thatâs dancing!âÂ
Whatâs a personality trait that you hate in one of your close friends?
*TMI Tuesday*
âOne word: Egotismâ
What season do you think best represents where you are in your life?
*TMI Tuesday*
âI would have to say, Autumn, because currently, I feel like Iâm losing myself or at least parts of myself in preparation for a much hard or colder part of my life.â
Priyanka Chopra for Marie Claire, 2017
I believe in myself and my art so much. Iâve always trusted destiny. Wherever it takes me, I just work damn hard at the opportunity.
I was rejected many times. I cried. I was told that female actors are replaceable in films because they just stand behind a guy anyway. Iâm still used to being paid - like most actresses around the world - a lot less than the boys. Weâre told weâre too provocative or that being sexy is our strength, which it can be, and it is, but thatâs not the only thing we have. But women have incredible endurance and incredible strength. Your ability to deal with it is within you.

Abra awoke with fervent energy. Unaware of where she was or how exactly she got there. The cold air blew against her skin with such ferocity, making her hyper-aware of her surroundings. She was outside in the middle of a raging blizzard. Snow fell from every angle landing hard against her in an almost painful manner. Her cheeks flaring up as blood rushed to the surface from the harsh weather. Where was she and how did she get here?
Slowly she rose from her spot on the ground, cautiously surveying her new surroundings. Snow hindered most of her vision but she was able to make out the image of a wall blocking both directions. Quickly she crawled over to one side to touch it. Upon closer inspection, she was able to see that it was made entirely of ice. Knocking on it let her know that it was solid.
A groan from beside her notified her that she was not alone. Through the fierce snowfall, she was able to make out the body of a man lying in the snow not to far from her. Abra then frantically got to her feet and rushed to the manâs aid. âAre you alright?â she asked in a panicked tone.
a-tuath:
Aibell held the smile in place, it was incredulous - the feat in front of her, but not entirely shocking. Whatever she felt was from a little bit of caution - and fear that one of her closer ties out of the fae would find herself in a problematic situation. âVery, it is trying times indeed.â Aibell agreed, letting her posture relax.
âLead the way then-â she said as she would follow Abra to wherever it would be they would stay for the nightcap. Apart from the display earlier it seemed to be a quiet night. There were some catching up to do as well, after the whole âsupposed battleâ between the fae on the night of the eclipse, she had kept herself very, very busy for the past couple of years - or maybe decades? Who knew. Time became so little, so unimportant in the grand scheme of things, and war - no matter how long to prepare and quick to finish took a lot of time. If it probably werenât for the closing of the Cairns, Aibell would probably not find peace in the coming of time.
Funny how that seemed to work, and how things change with just one snap of the fingers. âAmazing,â Aibell remarked, fully aware that despite different beliefs, they all held their own power, magick. Even fae believed in their own deities, goddesses, and nature. From there each belief stays within their minds and hearts, giving all fae equal knowledge that they possess something special.
As they settled, Aibell left herself to be comfortable, pouring two glasses of rich violet colored wine that seemed to swirl on itâs own- longer than when supposed water shoulds still. A twist and a blemish of yellow tickled the edges - the drink was fae made obviously.
âYou have told me from before that you and your sister use Arain as a point of travel, yes? Gathering enchanters from around the world? What have you all been doing now ever since the cairns have closed? It has been quite the change.â
When Abra was prompted to choose where they would go, her first thought was to go back to the cabin, but then an even better idea came to mind. A chance for her to see just want she was capable of with these new godly powers. âI know just the place,â Abra said gaining Aibellâs attention. With a wave of her hands, a portal was formed leading to a room of her own creation. âFollow me,â she said just before she walked through.
The room looked just like an upscale lounge that Abra used to frequent back the cairns were still open. It was small and sleek with a modern design to it. White walls with a black bar and table, black leather stools, along with white leather couches. On the side were two televisions and light hung from the ceiling right above the bar. âItâs just like I remember it,â Abra said astonished by her own work.Â
Abra took a set at the bar, âTake a seat wherever you want. Weâre the only ones here.â Other than the two of them, the newly conjured lounge was completely empty with only the sound of jazz music playing lowly in the background. It was quite beautiful, to say the least, and such an astounding display of magic.
As Aibell poured the wine, Abra let herself get comfortable in the new environment. Once she took the glass, she proposed a toast. âTo brighter days in these ever so trying times,â Abra said clinking her glass with Aibells. She then took an eager sip of the wine given to her. A bit surprised by the bitter taste but otherwise satisfied to have some sort of alcohol in her system as it has been awhile since she had any.
As Aibell initiated the conversation, Abra finished her second sip. âYes, we do. At the time it seemed like a great central hub for the coven, now not so much,â Abra chuckled. âSince the closing of cairns, Iâve just been doing the daily upkeep. Just like you, Iâve been delegating my members with tasks and making sure theyâre all safe as well as let the less experience of them learn and practice the craft without any fear or restrictions.â
bloodkept:
It was three in the morning once again, though many of those with magick in blood dare to fall in love at this hour, Shizuo was not one who wholly liked the hour. Again, he hears the spirits calling out to himââhe feels their touches around his wrists and around his neck; suffocating him in their ghostly touch. And he knows how god awful his acts have been and he knows how twisted it was, but it does not stop him. He had hurt his mother dearest for his own benefits that his fear had dimmed to nothingness. He begins to wander again, he made sure to leave his workshop sealed off to others with a spell that would burn them if they dare try to trespass the borders he set.
Heaving a heavy sigh, he drags his feet to an unknown landââit seems that any sign of light had disappeared from this point on. Though he did not fear the dark, he found it inconvenient since he was well aware that his sense of direction was enough to probably get him lost in a paper bag; âćć ćŒșćșŠ,â and suddenly a cluster of light forms in an ambiguous form in front of him, akin to a group of fireflies. Once there was a bit of light, he realizes there were little wooden dolls, strung above as if it were some typical, awful horror story. He emits a sigh, knowing its best not to touch it (in addition, the spirits kept on hissing and trying to pry his body away from it, âLeave ! Leave !â they beg the male).
Feeling weakened, the clusters of light begin to slowly fall apart but his spirit possessed soul holds onto the light, not letting its host get swallowed in the darknessââafter all, though doused in hatred, loyalty still transcends even the deepest and darkest negativity. Shizuo keeps on walking, hoping thereâs an exit somewhere around here and surprisingly, a panicked woman runs straight to him, crashing both of them. He falls on his bottom, the light that surrounded him also seemingly shocked but they still hold onto each other.
âHey.â He tries to express worry, but his tone is devoid of any emotion. âAre you alright?â Eyes bore onto her, as if unfamiliarââhe couldâve sworn sheâs⊠ah, yeah. Not that he cared anyways, but itâd better if he tried to be a bit more hospitable. Poor her. He stands and dusts off his pants and reaches out his hand, âYou should look at your surroundings better. Youâre an enchanter yet you still dwell here.â
Something was not right, magical dampeners appearing out of nowhere and now an enchanter shows up right alongside them. Abra was no foul and she was not sure if she should trust this new enchanter who seemed to not know who she was. âI would say the same for you. And youâd be best to watch your tongue when addressing the Supreme of the local coven,â Abra informed while he picked herself up from the ground.Â
She dusted herself off making sure to check everywhere so as to not look unpresentable. Abra then turned back to look at the labyrinth of string and dolls hung up. He could still feel the magic be drained from her and desperately wanted to get as far away from this place as possible.
Abra once again came faced to face with this new enchanter and was finally able to put a name to the face. Shizuo Inoue, was his name, a newer enchanter allowed into the coven. Brought to us by Avi, normally very reputable by everyone was allowed to make some bad decisions now and then. It had happened fairly recently though Abra was having her own issues to worry about so his arrival might have slipped past her a bit.âItâs late, I would suggest you return to the cabin and not worry so much about what Iâm doing. One would think you were up to something being out here all alone,â Abra said a bit harshly. She then proceeded to walk past him towards the direction of the cabin, if he was smart he would follow in suite.
n-sapheire:
There was something nice about being blind, although it was just as fake as her sarcastic remarks when warranted. Being blind gives the false sense of bravado that since she couldnât see, they couldnât see her. Of course she wasnât that dumb to believe it, but the heart said otherwise. It helped that the forest was dense with foliage and in the blanket of night - which the cool air and hooting of the owls signaled - shadowed her moreso. Nadeia had spent many years outside of Arain, and when she did come in, the first few years was spent under the waters. Meditating and letting herself get lost, once used to it, she would travel different parts of Arain on land, creating a landscape in her head. She already knew of the main areas, and memorized them - the mountains, the Forts, and even the separate cairns, but she had yet to venture to the Southern areas. That was why tonight, she was in complete concentration, and she made sure to make loud steps and calculated movements to make sure to get the biggest range possible. This was probably why she wasnât ready when a random entity suddenly created a disturbance in her mental image, destroying a small part of her layout - there wasnât time to worry or complain since in that moment Nadeia stopped- something slammed into her, and it was very- very forceful. So forceful the normally panicky mer had her whole body tense. âHello? What ⊠oucâouch.â the small movements on the ground made it easier to create a shape, humanoid. It helped all her feet and hands were also on the ground as well. âIs there any danger?â she looked blankly at the shape - woman. âShould we continue running?âÂ
Abra wasnât prepared when she ran straight into a woman, who seemed to be wondering the forest at such an odd hour of the day. What was she doing? Didnât she know the dangers that lurked within this forest? In all honesty, Abra wasnât even sure what dangers existed in this forest. With the discovery of the magical dampeners a whole new level of danger now subsisted for all inhabitants of the forest.
âYes! We must move now!â Abra screamed, probably alarmed the women who seemed unaware. Grabbing her arm, she began to run in the opposite direction trying her hardest to lead the other as far away from the dampeners as possible. Abra weaves and bobbed her way through the dark forest until she came to an area where she felt safe enough to stop.Â
âIâm sorry to alarm you but I needed to get us both away from that area,â Abra said through light pants. She took a moment to gather herself and her thought before she continued. âDo you mind telling me what it is you were doing wandering the forest at this time of night?â
twinunhinged:
Aislinn noticed the enchantress move back into her expression of despair and she stepped forward, listening to her vent for a moment. She wondered what it was about perfect strangers that made it so easy to spill your stresses upon them. âIt can often feel like bad things happen in a sequence with no end, but the most important to recognize only what you can control⊠It can also be helpful to never label your actions as right or wrong. Such this or that thinking is never helpful in a world full of shades of greyâŠâ
Such wise words came from someone who looked so young, but Abra was no fool and knew that looks can be deceiving and she was probably much older than her appearance gave way to. âIâve never thought of it that way. I always get caught up in trying my hardest to make sure that I have everything under control so when I donât I guess I just crumble,â Abra admitted to the other but herself as well. Her mind then filled with the image of all of her enchanters. She wondered if she was really capable of protecting all of them and making the best choices for their future as well as hers. âI find it hard not to worry about such things when I have so many relying on me to lead them. If I fail who is going to care for them? So I feel as if I have to make the right choices for their sake more than mine.â
