Don’s Suite

Don favors more muted and neutral colors in his decor, its a nice rest for his eyes after the bright lights and loud chaos of his work life. He also just thinks it looks sleek. He of course needs his own kitchen because he likes handling his own food and entertaining for guests. His bedroom follows the same comfy and cool color scheme, a bed ideal for flopping onto, and a matching bathroom with a nice tub for sexy soaking. Hidden deeper in his suite is his own personal recording studio, full of lights and colors to stimulate his creative juices to write and compose original work when he’s not remixing radio hits. Not far from there is a door that’s heavily warded from outsiders, it contains the many spellbooks and grimoires of his witch family line, keeping them protected so they don’t fall into the wrong hands. His magic supplies are also kept there, but typically he only makes charms and protective talismans.

recently built by sim to house the birds he acquired from a rather unsavory & undeserving character, the mews are kept well-heated even in the harsh winter. each bird is housed separately to prevent scuffles between them, but there is an additional flight cage where they can socialize. also equipped with webcams so the birds’ conditions can be observed at any given moment. the birds also have tracking bands on their legs in case they escape or do not return to the glove.

Portal to Kellan’s Forest

With Thomas and Fallen’s help, and Game’s permission a portal has been created in an out of the way nook in the garden. The portal is a permanent pathway to the clearing in Kellan’s forest where her house is. Anyone can go through from the Chateau, but in order to come back, through a similar arch made of two trees, you must either be a lock or key or the guest of one. Kellan asks only that you respect her sanctuary and it’s wild nature. Visitors are free to enjoy her home and the surrounding forest. Also she encourages them to enjoy scaring away any who trespass on her land. She’s cultivated the idea that her land is haunted.

Garden Cottage that currently houses two of the Covey’s staff: gardener/procurer of magical goods, Hæilvi Afladottir, and groom/exercise rider, Sarah Monroe. While lacking the lavishness that is standard for the rest of the Chateau, the cottage lacks none of the usual comforts. They quite enjoy the cozier nature of the cottage, located just away from the gardens up a small rocky hill.

Hammer’s Suite in the @coveyofkeys

Hammer’s suite could be described as Rustic. He has a few Norse accents around his humble abode, and he made almost all of them. He is an artist at heart, and takes pride in his work. His living area has a couch and an elaborate fireplace, which he uses often, and is accessible from his bedroom, for they are only separated by a fairly thin wall. His bed is covered in furs from previous hunts (and a one faux fur blanket he received as a gift), and the loft above his suite he uses just in case someone wants to sleep somewhere close to him–if otherwise not in his bed.

** It should be noted that Riven’s suite contains a hidden room housing his priceless collection of bladed weapons. The place of honor in the center of the room holds his original Samurai armor, and weapons. Each piece of his collection is maintained by Riven himself in the traditional way.
