🧪: Why are you looking at me like that?
☕️: I love you
🧪: Eh? Don’t say stuff like that out of nowhere!
Thinking about them makes me giggle and kick my feet hehe (>ω<)
Also, this is a reference to this one Marcile and Falin scene ・ω・
Horse yuri is real 🎉🎉🎉
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH... I CAN'T...
(I haven't painted in a very long time and I have art block 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️)
I really became obsessed with Japanese turf horses (I blame Umamusume) so I made the one that started it all (or most of it)
Fated Rivals (ooo they wanna kiss sooo bad ooo)
One day I’ll actually share character personalities and backstory, once it becomes more than random thoughts in my brain.

I read @aquaticbun 's fic «Crows, Couples and Crow Couples» on AO3 and was inspired to draw a few sketches
I really like your work!!💛 I apologize if I misunderstood something and drew some details incorrectly
THE ENONAMI BRAINROT HAS CONSUMED ME ONCE MORE by god im actually proud of this one lad's I didn't even know Chiaki x Junko was a ship a year ago, and now its completely consumed my mind, like every song i'm just like "This would fit Enonami" I love them so much, i could draw them all day, they're the only thing thats keeping the artblock away.
junko/chiaki (hi i've been devouring your spotify playlists)
Hiii!!! I'm very flattered you've been listening to my playlists!!! Thank you!!!
Now onto Junko/Chiaki :D!
This is maybe my favorite Junko ship (up there with my guilty pleasures, Junkomaeda & Junkan). I have wrote so much about them, they are sooo interesting. They change a lot depending on the universe you put them in, and a lot of what I like about them are stuff I concocted in my head, but honestly? I do think there's a solid basis for them in canon.
I'm going to talk about about what they're like in canon & then thoughts about my favorite AUs about them!!!
DR3:
I think it's clear Junko has something of a fixation on Chiaki in DR3. They're both set up as foils to each other in a way, too: Junko gives the class despair, Chiaki gives them hope; they are both adored by the class (though one through genuine bonds and the other through brainwashing), and their deaths affected the class very much so. But where Junko is remembered by the world, Chiaki is forgotten, only remembered by those closest to her. It's very tragic; but I like the angle of Junko thinking, "The world won't remember you, but I will." It's definitely very interesting to consider.
Another thing about this ship is that Junko canonly kills people she loves/is interested in. I don't think she's to the point of fully loving Chiaki yet, but I do think she's a little bit obsessed with her—infuriated at her hopeful shtick and wanting to crush it, and fascinated with her in the same breath. On Chiaki's side, she's determined to defeat Junko, who is the only person we really see her get that angry with.
In my version of DR3 in my head, Junko Enoshima, I feel like, killed Chiaki Nanami because she was a threat, too. A threat not exactly to her plan, but to her ideology. She does the same thing to Makoto Naegi in DR1; I think she can't handle people who are so fundamentally opposed to her worldview that they disprove it. She wants to make them despair, to prove to herself that she isn't wrong; she needs to eliminate them because they threaten her sense of self. But I think in that way, even though Junko Enoshima “wins” physically against Chiaki, I think she also “loses” philosophically the moment she is threatened enough to decide to kill Chiaki. Especially in an AU without the brainwashing video; in such an AU, Junko would try to bring Chiaki into despair with manipulation, fail, and then try to kill her because she was too troublesome—is that not the definition of a sore loser?
SDR2:
What if I hated you and you hated me and we were both AIs based on dead girls in a killing game and we kissed 😳😳😳
If we take into account DR3, Chiaki and Junko in this game is a rematch. One that Chiaki wins. Sure, she still dies again, but this time she's able to save her friends. Junko can't sway them because of Chiaki. Chiaki won.
If we don't take into account DR3, and we interpret Chiaki as only an AI, Chiaki (imo) becomes the kindness the remnants never had. In that narrative, the remnants were all vulnerable people that Junko took advantage of because the world was cruel to them, but through Chiaki, through one kind person, they find hope at the end of the game. It's a message that kindness is enough. Even one kind person can change someone's fate. In that way, she also foils Junko: Junko took advantage of the SDR2 cast, showing them kindness only to manipulate them, but Chiaki is genuine. She wants to help them, and that's why she's kind. And that kindness is enough in the end.
Now… AUs!
I think the two most compelling AUs I'd want to talk about is despair!Chiaki and the AU I wrote where Chiaki murders Junko. First, despair!Chiaki.
It's so compelling to have such a kind character & to see someone corrupt even that. I definitely think there's ways to do it, too; post-execution, after being betrayed by her friends, for one, or maybe preying upon Chiaki's abandonment issues, or exposing Hope's Peak to her to ignite her righteous anger towards them. You could even have her realize what Junko was doing & her try to stop her, only to get suckered into her world, corrupted by the violence she starts to favor towards Junko, her methods getting more and more extreme as they escalate. It's very interesting to think about, though I admit there is something equally compelling (to me) in the idea of Junko doing all of this, trying all these angles to corrupt her, and her still remaining good. That's good too, I eat that up. I definitely think in a lot of these cases/scenarios where Junko's methods did work, Chiaki would have a love/hate relationship with Junko. She hates what she's done to her, but she can't help but love the “only” person she feels still loves her. In this type of universe, I think “committing atrocities as their silly little activities” & “sicko 2 sicko communication” are applicable.
Then you get to “Chiaki kills Junko” AU, which is one of my favorites I've written; it's so interesting. Killing your girlfriend to save the world; putting the good of the many over your loved one; or maybe you're just angry, angry that she hurt you and that's why you did it; hurt and grief and anger that she left you when she promised she'd stay, even though you know it's illogical because you are the one who killed her… I could go on.
I also think a almost comedic dynamic of the two of them trying their upmost to kill each other but both failing would be kind of hilarious.
They even work very well in a non despair AU. I could see them being very fluffy and cute in such a setting, even. There's a lot they could relate to, so it would be interesting to see them in a healthier setting/dynamic too.
(TW: Korekiyo's backstory)
Korekiyo's sister is alive when he first starts at Hope's Peak Academy.
He mentions her often: When he is allowed to ramble for long enough about something he's been studying, he will often say, "Sister will be fascinated," or "Sister will be pleased."
He speaks of her especially frequently around Angie. With Angie, he speaks of his sister with the regularity of a married man preoccupied with fears of having an affair.
Because of this (as well as her own skills at getting people to open up), Angie knows more about Korekiyo's sister than any of their classmates. Enough to be concerned, though her own experiences with misguided devotion to manipulative people keep her from acting on it. She would rather remain a friend for Korekiyo than give him a reason to pull away from the people who care about him.
When Korekiyo's sister dies, he goes to Angie first.
He cries with his head in her lap, and she strokes his hair. She talks to him a little. He doesn't say anything. Eventually, she lets the silence grow, staring out the window at the evening sky.
“Angie,” Korekiyo finally says, in a small voice.
“Hm?” Her hand stills, but then he squirms slightly, so she resumes stroking his hair. “Yes, Kiyo?”
“When you die, do you think you’ll go to the same place as Sister?”
Angie hums quietly. Truthfully, as much as she knows that she is not above sin, she can’t imagine what trajectory her life would have to take to land her in the same afterlife as Korekiyo’s sister. She says a silent prayer for forgiveness, and a prayer for the sister’s wellbeing. God will take care of her, wherever she is. “I don’t think so.”
Korekiyo sighs. It's hard to tell whether it's disappointment or relief. “Will I?”
She keeps stroking his hair. “I don’t know where you’ll go when you die. But I know that you’ve always made your sister proud, and I’m sure she’ll be proud to know you’re studying things you’re passionate about.”
“Who do you think will share the same afterlife with her?”
Can she think of such a troubled soul?
Maybe she answers, "Angie will have to ask God about that." And, "Are you worried she'll be lonely?"
And Korekiyo shivers. Nods.
"You don't have to worry. There are lots of people for her to meet. And if she's anything like Kiyo, she'll make lots of friends."
Or maybe Angie thinks of a person, names a name, only realizing later what Korekiyo was really asking.
@danggirlronpa's femslash february day 24: (pre-tragedy) moments before accompanying her to a restaurant called "The Chiaki Nanami Murdering Room"
Okay wait now I'm imagining Junko somehow figures out Hajime and Chiaki where friends before Izuru came into existence and is like "hey Kamukura remember your girlfriend you had before the lobotomy? Of course you don't anyways she's MY girlfriend now 😋" and decides to date her for the shits and giggles

EASY GOER & SUNDAY SILENCE
“Easy Goer and Sunday Silence were the other's double. The two were as close as the fingers of a fist. Both were the living embodiment of what people said when asked which gunfighter was faster: "I'd hate to have to live on the difference."”
"The greatest race I ever saw was the Preakness in 1989, when Easy Goer and Sunday Silence went at it. As they came down the stretch, their legs moved in unison as if they were a shadow of one another. Their heads bobbed up and down in unison too. There was absolutely nothing to choose between them.”
I need everyone to know: Sunday Silence was a horse who nearly died twice before his debut as a racer. He got so sick the vets gave up and then the truck he was riding in crashed and killed everyone else (human driver included) that'd been riding in it. Even after he debuted and nearly won the American Triple Crown, no one wanted to breed him because of his poor pedigree… and then a Japanese farm took an interest in him, took him to Japan, and had him go Ra Ra Rasputin. And he was incredible.
Like. Even limiting ourselves to just the Umas who are currently playable in global. Suzuka Silence, Special Week, Gold Ship, Daiwa Scarlet, Agnes Tachyon, they're all descended from him. And a lot of them were utter terrors because Sunday Silence was a horse who looked at the world trying to kill him and decided to go out kicking and biting.
Sunday Silence is truly one of the horses of all time.
Also, I'm curious, what sort of relationship do you picture between Easy Goer and Sunday Silence? I don't know a lot about the former. Right now I'm kind of picturing her being kind of, well, an easy goer, while Sunday Silence is just kind of intense and insane and prone to bolting from invisible ghosts (the Grim Reaper coming to finally take her life)
