Hello and welcome to my blog! You can call me Buttercup or June!
I am currently 23 years old (my birthday is in March!)
My pronouns are they/them (I'm nonbinary!)
I may refer to myself as feminine or masculine terms, but please do not do so for me; gender neutral labels unless I know you and say you can use gendered terms on me.
I am ace! Not sure on my romantic attraction (questioning aro and also lesbian) but right now I'm IDing as bisexual with a preference for women.
My special interest is Danganronpa!
I have Autism, ADHD, bipolar and OCD; all except OCD is professionally diagnosed, though my docs think I probably have it.
I am also physically disabled in a multitude of ways (GERD, no gallbladder, damaged lungs, endometriosis, fibromialgia, asthma, etc, to name a few, filling out medical forms is fun).
My (immediate) family is my sibling and my two moms, I might refer to them off hand sometimes, if you see old posts mention a dad that was before my mom came out, ignore those.
I post funny reblogs, fandom stuff, and some activist stuff.
I'm anti zionist (free palastine), anti imperalist, a feminist, anti capitalist, anti racist, trans activist, and a prison abolishionist (did I get everything?).
Some of my older posts do not reflect my opinions now.
I am in soooo many fandoms I cannot list them all out, but my big ones are probably Danganronpa, Undertale/Deltarune, Madoka Magica, Bungou Stray Dogs, Persona 5 Royal, Milgram, Re:Zero and Danny Phantom? At least right now, that may change!
Rarepair and yuri enthusiast, shameless multishipper.
My spotify is buttercupghost - I make playlists there!
My YouTube is buttercupghost - I make animatics there! Uh... theoretically.
My AO3 is Buttercup_ghost - I make fanfics there!
Active Side Blogs are @rarepairronpa (an archive blog for rarepair danganronpa content, though it is currently on a hiatus for a bit) and @aesthetically-jaded - my current art blog!
I'm very sporadic about tagging- most reblogs aren't tagged unless their fandom stuff, in which case: it will be tagged either [fandom] [character name] or [character tag]. Fandom indicates that it's more general fandom stuff, I don't tag every fandom or everything in the fandom as the fandom tag even if I arguably should, [character name] indicates that it's the character tagged shows up in the post; [character tag] also indicates this, however it's my kin tag as well.
Example: [milgram] would be the fandom name tag, [haruka] would be the character tag, and [muu tag] would be the kin tag.
I tag every post that I make as [my post] and [my posts]; sometimes those are yapping, sometimes those are memes, sometimes those are analysis. My writing is tagged [my writing].
I don't really talk about kinning anymore, as it's not really a big part of my life anymore. But this did originally start as a kin blog, funnily enough. I go back and forth on whether I still kin anyone, but I do still tag as if I do, lol. You can see both my bipolar status and my shifting status in my description (...whenever I remember to update it).
Current ask game: this one!! I have an ask still to do from last ask game but i will GET TO IT i swear
On proshipping and antishipping: I tend to think what matters is how you frame abusive relationships, not whether you depict them. I myself am an abuse survivor and I do write a lot about abuse because of it; I think what matters is if you're taking toxic dynamics and endorsing them wholesale, not whether you depict them at all. I also think survivors deserve representation; what matters is that you're not framing that rep as romantic and desirable. I don't reblog anything romancing stuff like pedophila and incest, but I do reblog things depicting abuse. I do not think making these topics taboo helps anymore than romanticizing them, but the reverse is also true; I do not think romanticizing abuse (esp without any awareness) helps anymore than making it taboo. I do not consider people making art of [toxic yuri/yaoi] (when the ships in question are not incest or pedophila, of course) as inherently romanticizing toxicity, as there is inherent acknowledgement in calling it that that it's toxic, and not every toxic or unhealthy ship is outright abuse (imo). I also do not inherently consider people making fix it AUs as romanticizing toxicity, because fix it also implies a level of awareness of the unhealthy factors. I do not even really consider fluffy AUs as doing so, because AU also implies awareness; as long as the dynamics between the characters in these AUs are not unhealthy yet romanticized in the text/art, it's fine. All of what I just said mainly applies to how I view Junkan, BTW.
I am a Ultimate Despair/Remnants of Despair superfan; I rotate Junko Enoshima and her fucked up death cult in my mind daily.
Known to some as the Ryota Mitarai guy, known to a lot as the Junko Enoshima guy, known to others as the Mikan Tsumiki fan, known to at least one as the Chisa Yukizome fan, and known to more as the Chiaki Nanami fan, but Kaede Akamatsu is actually my favorite DR character.
Might make this a masterpost under the read more of relevant analysis, but have not done so yet.
