I discovered bebop so friggin late as well. I think a year or two before you did. And it was for the better. I ended up with a show i deeply love and also prompted me to make a long ass comic of it a few years ago.

I think the only way i improved in art was through that love for bebop and that fancomic so it’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Cowboys of the Galaxy: Vol 2

I know this pic took a billion years to get here but I’m mostly happy with how it came out. This was to celebrate how far this blog has come (even if it’s mostly dead [comics over dudes]). And this comic was successful because of all of the great bebop fans, new and old, that came over to see what went down after the real folk blues. I never thought more than a few people would ever read the comic and i’m happy you guys proved me wrong. Thanks a lot, and especially to Agent Orange who wrote the original fic and who gave me his blessing to adapt it.

With that, I bid adieu and ride off into the sunset content. The blog will still be here even if it’s mostly dead.

Why your art style is in the same vain as batman the animated series the story while not original had such a fresh take on the idea that it stood on its own and the characters ACTUALLY ACTED LIKE THEMSELVES. You have no idea how many stories i have found where Spike is a dick Faye is a wimpy damsel Jet is mean spirited and Ed is useless and annoying i mean did some of this writers even watch the damn anime?! You also have a great understanding of the look of the show over all the comic was great from beginning to end.

yo your comic was amazing. i read the fanfic by agent orange the other day and i really liked how you adapted it, id love to see more of your art or whatever even if its not bebop. keep it up!

Aw thanks! I loved making the comic. And my first real webcomic. And the first comic series I actually finished as opposed to abandoning it for reasons.

As for your question. Yes I do have plans for doing an original webcomic project of mine called A.I.P.D. Which when I was writing it I was channeling in a lot of the feelings I got from watching Bebop. So it’s a spiritual successor in the way that Samurai Champloo was. As for Bebop stuff. Well, this blog is gonna be a lot less active here. I mean if you guys send me asks asking the crew about post “after hour sessions” life i’d probably do them now and then. And I had an idea for a very very short comic about the crew wasting time in Tijuana. I’ve got some fanart I was supposed to finish that I do plan on posting here sometime. But all of that will take time since i’m kinda worn out on bebop atm.

But i’m really happy people loved the comic even if i fudged up updates and page orders from time to time.
