AAAGH I was just on Wikipedia and saw it said the 1998 Trigun anime planet is named Gunsmoke, so just spent like 20 minutes correcting several pages to remove them. once again i must use my meme:

A quick refresher of the planet name in Trigun by series:

1998 anime: unnamed

Manga/Maximum: No Man's Land

Stampede: No Man's Land

The Planet Gunsmoke is only used as a TITLE for the Kaiyodo toyline, the planet itself remains unnamed in the text on the package describing the world!

The only other place the name "The Planet Gunsmoke" is used is for the title of the cancelled PS2 game!

TL;DR: feel free to keep using the name Gunsmoke in fanon but stop adding it to informational sites like Wikipedia as it is incorrect and further spreading this misconception!!!!

I think the best part about stampede is not only the ost but the way they utilize it and how it tells a story just like the show does and if I talk about this for too long I will go crazy

I want to see tristamp hornfreak so much just because I know the soundtrack would be killer. I believe the team behind the tristamp soundtrack could create a sax track so powerful it will actually kill me in real life

in the manga midvalley the hornfreak has a baritone saxophone. now a fun fact about these saxophones is that they are big. A barisax is about 48 inches or 121cm long. His saxophone is not even half of his body length. So either Midvalley the hornfreak has a fancy specialized saxophone that sounds like a bari but is alto sized (which doesn't make sense the bari is that big for a reason) OR he is tall as fuck.

also the fact that he doesn't have a neckstrap or anything with this bari and is carrying it mostly one-handed is metal as fuck because saxes are actually quite heavy. this man is insanely strong.
