Cozmic stood alone in the snow. She held the side of her stomach, her wounds still open. A long, fresh train of oil followed her with every step she struggled to take. She couldn't see straight. Her visor lagged and glitched. How long had it been since she was taken? Days? Months? She had lost all count. Shocking her CPU hasn't given out on her already. Every part of her body was dreaded with agonizing pain. She looked into the distance, seeing nothing but fog and floods of snow. She was giving everything not to give up.

An oil trail was nothing out of the ordinary, not recently at least. But an oil trail this fresh, this thick, and this long would have caught the attention of anydrone. Especially one that was looking for bodies to loot. Ami had been following the trail for so long that the idea that she had somehow gone the wrong way was floating around in her CPU. Well, it was too late to turn back now, plus, the oil was still fresh, so she had to be going the right way. The anticipation and mystery of what this bleeding thing could be filled Ami with a twisted determination to find its corpse.
Cozmic stopped in her tracks. the drone could feel her body start to give out on her. She coughed up oil, adding to the black staining the snow beneath her. The weather was especially harsh today. it was almost as if the world was against her as well. Cozmic looked around, observing her surroundings. still nothing. and yet, she couldn't shake the eerie feeling, like she was being followed. The Snow wisped by her, she felt blinded by the foggy air.
The wind and snow had picked up, foretelling a harsh storm brewing above. Ami moved her goggles over her visor so she could continue to track the oil before the snow covered it up. The ideas of what the source could be made a smile creep onto the twin tailed Drone's face. The oil was still fresh as she continued to follow, still warm, but whatever it was will have to stop soon, will have to drop, will have to die. Ami was hoping it was an injured Disassembly Drone, or even a Solver infected Drone, as she could get the most amount of desired data out of their CPU. The only challenge was getting it before the code was deleted or before it could "die" as well.
Just when the wind picked up, Cozmics legs gave out on her. The drone collapsed to the ground. She sat in the snow, Her legs to the side and her arms barely holding her up. oil began to pool beneath her like a crime scene. Any other drone would have been dead long ago. How was this kid still alive? its almost like the AS doesn't want her to die. it just wont. A pang of hurt struck through the side of her stomach, causing the child cry out in pain. She always hated letting people see her hurt. But its not like anybody was there, anyway.
Ami stops dead in her tracks, being taken completely off guard by the sound. Had she heard that right? No, no of course not. A child couldn't get this far with this much bleeding, it had to have been a trick of the wind or something. Something. But... Ami shakes her head and continues following the oil trail, even if this thing was a child, or, something along those lines, Ami still had a job to do. And that was to scavenge the corpse and take it back to her lab for research. A single orange ball of light cuts through the fog like a hot knife through butter, ominous and foreboding. The storm was upon them, it was going to have to be a quick 'grab and go' once Ami found the source. At least, that was her plan now.
Suddenly, an orange light pierces through the fog. Cozmic turned her head trying to distinguish what it could be. The damage done to her visor made it almost impossible to see past the glitching. Was that orange or yellow? God she hoped it wasn't yellow. She stared at the ominous figure that was slowly approaching her. unable to do anything except stare, the pink light from her optics, flickering and dim.
// GUH I EXIST AGAIN I AM SO SORRY FOR THE WAIT //
Ami lowered herself slightly as she continued to stalk the source of the oil trail. Then, in the dense fog and snow, Ami saw a figure. As she approached, the figure remained motionless, dead or unconscious? With all this snow, she couldn’t really tell. But what she could tell was that it was a Drone. The thing was covered in oil, dress torn and ruined, long hair matter and soaked. Like a victim of a god-awful crime. Ami couldn’t get a good age range on the Drone because of the storm, so, instead of stalling any longer, she picked up the light body and hoisted it over her shoulder, using her hair to help keep balance. The Drone was still warm to the touch, so maybe she could get it home fast enough to extract a good amount of data from its CPU, a great amount even. With a quick nod to herself, Ami hurried off.
The minute Cozmic was lifted, Her body couldn't handle it anymore. A small lag sound escaped right before the small drones CPU completely shut off, limply being carried over the strange drones shoulder. Her visor didn't display a "FATAL ERROR". It was pitch black and destroyed. Warm, dark oil leaked and stained Ami's.. mostly white coat. She looked horrible. how could any drone survive in a state like that?
Getting back didn't take much time, even with the snow slowing them down. The twin tailed Drone didn't dare to waste more time than what she already had, she wasn't aware if 009 had gotten back yet. The silence of the house gave the impression that she was alone. Quickly, she brought Cozmic to the basement, to her lab. It was dark like usual, though a few TV screens that were powered emitted a dim creepy light. Ami used her hair to turn on the overhead examination light, adjusting the brightness ever so slightly to be more comfortable for her visual sensors. Placing the child on the table, Ami examined them a bit more while she worked with the restraints. It was a child, a ping of guilt shot its way through the red haired Drone's system. How long had they been like this? Their outfit was completely ruined, their visor basically destroyed, and their body covered in scratches and gashes. Most likely a victim of a Murder Drone, just lucky enough to escape but unlucky enough to succumb to their injuries. Ami bowed her head as she tied the leather belts around the poor girl's arms, legs, and waist. She had learned from past experiences that even if a Drone is dead, poking around in their CPU can cause them to twitch and thrash around. After she was done with the set up, she went over to a TV and dragged it over, the wheels on it's stand squeaked as it moved along. She was about to hook Cozmic up to it when her audio sensors pinged a notification. The door upstairs had been opened, which meant 009 was home. Ami groaned as she dropped the cable, she couldn't continue the procedure until 009 was out of the house. The noises digging around in the kid's CPU could make 009 think Ami is torturing a literal child, and she couldn't have that. The twin tailed Drone scurries off, up the stairs and locks the door behind her, leaving Cozmic on her own for the time being.
The drone lied motionless on the table for a few minutes. After some time, a pink "ERROR" glitched and flashed on her visor before slowly powering on.
"hnng.." Cozmics optics opened, confused, she glanced around the dark room. where was she again? this doesn't look like her room. wheres V? She blinked, beginning to regain her consciousness. Everything slowly came back to her and panic set in. The small drone tried to sit up, suddenly feeling the tight leather restraints wrapped around her.
Shit.
Not this again. She thought she escaped. Where is she? Is cantor here? what happened to the green lights? Why cant she move? Her mind raced and her head was throbbing. all she could feel was fear. She loudly kicked and struggled against the restraints, letting out small grunts and yelps. They almost felt suffocating. She looked around frantically, her visor glitched and the agony from the injures was too much to handle.

Cozmic snatches it out of the anons hands, downing the canister in one go. The ruthless lagging on her visor ever so slightly calmed for a moment. She hasn't had oil in months.
