i've seen a lot of people trying to join the tf2 discord serv as of late, and i apologize for its severe inactivity. me and my friends who run it have been preoccupied with other stuff and have overall just lost interest in tf2. we still love it, but we don't want a whole server dedicated towards it. so we've decided to revamp it completely and just make it a chill little spot for people to befriend others!! you can read more about it here: https://disboard.org/server/1320893898285125673

OFFICIAL TEAM FORTRESS 2 CHESS SET ON THE WAY

NECA and WizKids, the team behind last year’s Half Life 2 gravity gun, have revealed NextChess, a Team Fortress 2 variant on the classic game of chess. While the standard rules of chess apply, this new game has a unique twist: changeable hat toppers.

Players are able to claim hats from other pieces and assume the movement characteristics of pieces captured, adding an element of variation and challenge to the standard game of chess.

For example, if you’re pyro is a bishop I could steal that hat for my heavy who may have been a pawn, making him a bishop now, gaining the bishop’s movement ability.

Look for the new set sometime this summer.
