Welcome To My Rotomblr!

My name is Isabel and I live in Nacrene City. I’m an author, but I also volunteer at my local Pokémon shelter, and take riding lessons at a local barn! Let me introduce you to my two lovely mons!

First, there’s my Mightyena, Dumpling! I picked him up from the shelter about 5 years ago and he’s sweet as can be. He’s a really picky eater though; I have to sit next to him at his bowl or he won’t eat at all.

Then, my darling Cleffa, Rosebud! I got her from a breeder friend of mine who had one too many Cleffa eggs, and I would lay down my life for this Pokémon. She is no thoughts, just sleep, and is always cuddled up with me or Dumpling.

I Moved To Nacrene!

For some background, I was born in Nacrene City, and left for Castelia when I was 18 to pursue a book deal (which I got and was ultimately what started my career!) My family still lives in Nacrene and I visit a lot, and I honestly miss being able to go Pokémon watching in Pinwheel Forest or wake up with my mom’s Mudsdale at my window, or just living in a house!

So, I bought a house with some land in Nacrene and moved house! Dumpling and Rosebud have moved with me before and aren’t too stressed by the whole process. Rosebud likes being close to my dad because he loves giving her all his attention, and Dumpling is tentatively exploring the property, as long as I’m close behind.

My reason for buying some land is because I eventually would like to adopt a horse Pokémon somewhere down the road. I grew up around my mom’s clients and their Pokémon, since she’s a well respected horse Pokémon trainer, and I have always loved these Pokémon. I would have followed in my mama’s footsteps, but writing called to me more.

If you want to see some Dumpling and Rosebud antics in the new place, fear not for that is coming! Especially since I’m helping foster two Houndour pups and Dumpling has some thoughts…
