Hello! This is my first time asking anything on Tumblr like this... but I just re-read all of TBP and I wanted to ask whether you would ever draw TBP characters in historically accurate outfits? Also, I would like to thank you for this comic, its absolutely amazing, and it helped me like my own artstyle, I used to think realistic art is the only "real art" and my hand always kept leaning more towards stylized art and I hated it and then I read your comic and it just- its awesome. I actually drew lots of fanart, but I dont want to post it on my profile... could I send some of it through another ask? Im really REALLY sorry, for such a long rant and I hope you have a lovely day!

I haven’t drawn anything historically accurate because the time period it’s set in is very vague lol. It WAS going to be set in the Regency era but I had to walk back on that decision because the fashion was super restrictive and I couldn’t really express the characters personality with it.

As for the fanart, sure! I’d love to see any and all fanart of TBP. Every sketch makes my whole day haha.

I really hope you don’t mind this but while rewatching Elisabeth 1992 I kept thinking Uwe Kröger’s Der Tod looked familiar and then it hit me, visually he reminded me of Sebastian.

I know you likely have never seen him before but…I hope I’m not the only one who sees it 😭

I do see it! He reminds me of his earlier designs when I was going for a more gothic/creepier vibe for seb. For now we can see he looks like Warden/seb lol.

Probably 6 months. I’m taking the maximum amount of time I can take lol. I need the break and I need time to prep for the final season.

Hi, I hope that you’re having a wonderful day! I was wondering if you had to pick any character from The Blind Prince to hang out with for the day. Who would you pick?

Probably Elaine. She was based a lot off of my best friend irl and they share a lot of personality traits! I consider myself more of an isabella, so we would click together pretty well. Seb I fear would annoy the crap out of me if I didn’t know him lol.

Number 1: How do you plan your stories? Like

is it all on a doc? A journal? From memory?

Number 2: what are some of the main inspirations for the blind prince (might sound crazy but dare I say the CRUEL prince was one of them based of of old posts???? 👀)

Number three; HIIIII!!!!! You’re a really big inspiration for me and honestly I don’t use WEBTOON anymore for anything besides the blind prince. I think it’s very underrated and you deserve more recognition for your hard work. Thank you so much for making this comic and inspiring so many other artists.

1. It’s all in google docs haha. I share my scripts with my co writer a lot as well as my editors and it makes it easier to access on my phone while I’m on the go. I also have tons of notes in my notes app, it’s handy to sync with my iPad. I tried to use notion, and while it’s great, it’s a bit slow to upload my files online, so it kept giving me issues.

2. I LOVE the Cruel prince, and I think I can say it was a stepping stone in the direction for TBP, but in my view they have completely opposite aesthetics. I don’t consider TbP to be in the same realm of the “fae”, and the story is not nearly as dark or gloomy as TCP. During time I was writing TBP I was reading LOTS of fairytale retellings and watching Disney movies and checking out children’s books for inspiration. TCP was one of many.

3. Thank you!! I really appreciate all my readers but especially the ones that reach out to me. I can be a little shy online but I do read every comment under each episode and every dm!

Why can we understand every other bird but not bart?(I'm just curious) Is it because he's a younger bird(ok how old is bart?)? Or just to help his character?

Bart is just special like that 😂 I just like the trope of characters saying one word but meaning complex sentences. Like the Rada guy from chowder or Perry the platypus. Or Gunther from adventure time.
