i am really trying to not get discouraged in these final weeks of my thesis. i keep making edits and right when i think i'm ready to defend, my supervisor decides to reveal a whole new list of issues that she didn't notice earlier

#i am so annoyed #i wanna drop out lol #how has she not noticed these issues seven versions ago lol #she had the audacity to say i hadn't introduced a concept yet #when its literally there a paragraph before #is she even reading????#gradblr #if there is anyone else out there who can relate #would love to know how you handle this

Big day-off energy. Went for a swim. Walking back from the pool, my wet hair drying in the warm sun, I saw the italian deli was open. Rows of sfogliatella made me think of naples, last summer. Lying on the grass in the park with my pastry I thought: this is the ultimate activity, just doing nothing. But I knew I was wrong, when I found myself dancing, losing myself in a sea of bodies at the Nubiyan Twist show. That is the ultimate joy.
