When you say ‘This post has dead dove content’, what does that like. Mean? Like is the “dead dove content” just incest? Is there also rape? Adult x child characters? What do I have to brace myself for before reading/interacting? Like DD:DNE is, from what I know, supposed to be a tag used to say “The bad stuff in this fic is Not apologetic and Very out there”, not just a catch-all term for bad stuff.
Hello there! I typically immediately paste “dead dove content” all over a post that may even slightly be considered dead dove, simply because antis like to complain. I do also make 100% sure to properly tag/warn about the exact contents of said post. :)
For example, I suggest always reading the tags before opening a dead dove post of mine (that way you are much happier and safer from being exposed to unwanted content), or I will alternatively have the warnings at the start of the post (typically for fics or heavier topics).

She is reed’s mate, however Johnny was actually the first alpha she messed around with. Since Johnny and Sue are still close, Reed usually doesn’t mind sharing his mate.
Sue still struggling with fertility (even despite her secondary gender), so she takes fertility medication. Her stronger — more potent — heats drive Johnny crazy, yet makes Reed much more territorial and protective over her. It’s safe to say Johnny wasn’t allowed to play with Sue much during her medicated time…
While she has the usual bonding bite on her neck from Reed, Sue was actually first marked by Johnny on her wrist when they were younger. The young alpha didn’t fully understand what he was doing, instincts just making him bite. The woman now has bite mark scars on her neck and wrist from the two alphas.
Sue’s nest making skills are pretty lackluster, or the woman is simply too tired during her heats to make a proper nest. This usually leads to either Reed or Johnny making a den around her as she sleeps curled up in bed.
Sue’s pheromones smell of melted marshmallows, vanilla, with a slight sweet, floral scent; overall like a sugary, sticky trap. It’s a very pleasant, attracting, and cozy scent.
Reed (Alpha)
Johnny is suuuuper jealous and territorial over Sue, while Reed is more levelheaded and doesn’t like to butt heads with Johnny. However, there has been an occasional or two where they have been short with one another. Typically during Sue’s heat, or their ruts.
Reed’s ruts are very irregular, either sinked up completely with Sue’s heats, or far off from his mate’s cycle… The man opts not to use mediation to regulate it, finding it unnecessary, as it’s “healthy to let it happen naturally.”
The alpha has a matching bonding bite mark on his own neck, given to him by Sue. The man also has various bite puncture scars on his shoulders, hands, and arms from his bite happy omega…
When it comes to Sue’s heat, Reed knows he will most likely be making a den around her to rest in for a few days. The alpha’s den making skills are pretty good, as Reed prefers a den during his ruts; and he’s known as a “perfectionist.” The man will not stop until he deems the den absolutely perfect, especially when his mate is expected to sleep in it.
Reed’s pheromones smell of peppermint, amber, ginger, with a slight hint of rain. The alpha’s pheromones are a very bold, striking, and “spicy” scent. To others, the scent might seem too powerful or irritating, yet to omegas — like Sue — it’s perfect.
Johnny (Alpha)
Johnny is very easy to accidentally send into a rut, making it like walking on eggshells when Sue nears her heat, he’s on a date with another omega, or simply catches a whiff of someone’s heat in public.
With Reed and Sue having a casual, “open” relationship for him, Johnny often finds himself sleeping in their bedroom with the two. It has become routine, neither questioning as the little brother crawls into bed anymore.
Johnny has various bite mark scars on his shoulders, though more prominent are the scratch mark scars along his back and abdomen. Most — if not all — of these scars were given to him by Sue.
Despite Sue being so bite and scratch happy, the woman has snapped at her little brother before for attempting to return love bites. The big sister would much rather give than receive the bites.
While Sue was on her fertility medication, Johnny was only permitted to give oral pleasure…and even then he needed permission from Reed beforehand. Already struggling with his sensitive rut, his sister’s stronger heats nearly killed him. He was not allowed to sleep in their bedroom during that time; per Reed’s orders.
Johnny’s pheromones smell of singed cedar, ash, and an undertone of flint; like a distant wildfire. Whether or not the smokey smell is from his usual firey nature or just his pheromones, Sue wasn’t sure. Although, she swore she could remember a different scent during Johnny’s rut when they were younger… Reed was always fascinated with this detail, chalking it up to the cosmic rays that altered their DNA also manipulating his pheromone scent.
Ben (Alpha)
Unlike the other two, Ben is not sexually nor romantically involved with Sue. Instead, the alpha is solely devoted to his beta wife: Alicia.
While alphas typically pair up with omegas, Ben broke that stereotype by falling in love with Alicia. Never once has the man wished his mate was capable of going into heat. He’s very dismissive of his secondary gender and the societal norms that come with it.
As Ben has yet to try for kids with Alicia, the alpha is actually unsure if the cosmic rays and his transformation have made him infertile.
The alpha hasn’t marked his beta mate with a bite yet, unsure if that’s something Alicia is familiar with, or even wants. After all, the “soulmate bonding mark” was proven to be a myth created long ago, now just practiced as a cute tradition; similar to wearing rings for marriage.
Ben’s pheromones smell of bergamot, amber, obsidian, and copper; overall very earthy and warm scent. While betas tend to struggle picking up full scents from alphas and omegas, Alicia has the advantage of heightened sense of smell after losing her sight. She can pick up Ben’s scents a bit better than regular betas, and she adores the earthy tones.

While the other members of the house will comment on the scents of pheromones (or Johnny will struggle with the smells), Alicia can’t pick up on the scents as easily. However, over the years, the beta can now smell Sue’s pheromones the strongest, enjoying the sweet aroma.

Alicia’s “pheromones” smell of clay, lilies, honey, and fresh paper; overall a very timid, calm, and pleasant scent. While betas typically don’t even notice their own pheromones, alphas and omegas pick up on it much easier. Ben loves her soft scent, making it much easier to calm ruts as well; it was a blessing in disguise really.

I definitely think Claudette would be the type to stay home with her Valentine! :) Watching a movie, making dinner and baking desserts together; having a romantic home dinner by candlelight ✨ She would always give handmade gifts to her Valentine, like paintings, hand picked bouquets, or a poorly croqueted — yet adorable — plushie… (at least she tried?)
I feel after years of staying home every Valentine’s Day, her Valentine would eventually break the cycle, surprising her with a trip to a luxury botanical garden! Although she likes the tradition of staying home, I know she would absolutely adore the garden trip!

She could almost rival Johnny with his freakiness- She loves Ben, but she’s in love with the man’s rocks… Alicia is living out every monsterfucker’s fantasy with her loving husband. I’d like to think she’s very versatile as well, either submissive or dominant, whatever the mood calls for really. It absolutely does hurt to sit after a night with Ben, but she wouldn’t have it any other way…
