I saw a picture of Kanato's bedroom, in his bedroom there is a portrait of Cordelia, why would he have this portrait in the bedroom?

Ava: You’re referring to this portrait, I assume?:

It’s unusual, yes, but it does make sense for his character to still have such strong emotional attachments to someone like his mother, despite it all. I believe we can trace this back to his childhood.

As children, the triplets craved their mothers attention as any child does. In return, however, Cordelia either ignored them or replaced that motherly affection with something much more sinister. None of the triplets ever grew up with really much knowledge or experience of maternal affection, thus leaving their craving it elsewhere (as we see with Yui/the MC). 

In Kanato’s case, however, it’s clear he still holds onto his sense childhood (hence Teddy, his childish behaviour, his toys, etc.) and, I personally believe, he still holds onto the hopes for affection and attention from Cordelia. Kanato, because much of his actions are emotionally driven, even holds onto his mothers ashes after her dead, so it isn’t out of character at all to see him with a hanging portrait of Cordelia in his room, too.

This is my interpretation of the situation, however. I hope this helps! ^^

Translator’s note: The infamous ‘Teddy GO!!!’ CD is basically a full half an hour of Reiji suffering at the hands of his brothers. This guy really can’t catch a break, huh? :P I found it interesting how Kanato’s voice is quite a bit different in this CD compared to some of the newer ones. When he isn’t crying or yelling, he sounds really soft and cutesy, while in the more recent CDs, his normal speaking voice has this sarcastic, cold undertone.

Diabolik Lovers: April Fools Tweets [ENG Translation]

This year the Diabolik Lovers boys tweeted some really fun stuff for April Fools so I’m here with some translations! 

I formatted it a little differently this time. Instead of dividing it per character, I actually went in chronological order and made it seem like an actual story unfolding. These Tweets were published over the course of 5-6 hours so this seemed more fitting.

Diabolik Lovers Drama CDs on Youtube

Rejet have just announced on their twitter that they’ve started a new Youtube channel called Rejet Archive where they’re going to be uploading some of their older drama CDS. 

You can read the official announcement here as they’ve included an English version of it: https://twitter.com/RejetArchive/status/1231903147506798594.

So what does this mean?

Well a lot of the DL CDs are over 3 years old and as of right now, all 6 of the original Do-S drama CDs featuring the Sakamaki brothers are available on youtube for free, uploaded by Rejet themselves.

Personally I could not be happier about this as it gives international fans, who might not be in a position to order CDs from Japan, a way of enjoying DL content while still supporting Rejet.

Hearing the mysme notification alert has been my sole comfort on numerous occasions. Having someone (albeit fictional) who I can rely on to be regularly check in on me, give me focus and have characters who are dealing with similar shit I am has been a lifeline. I find myself automatically starting gameplay whenever I notice a spiral. Thank you Cheritz.
