i lvoe and miss you all so much! i'm sorry for the extended hiatus, i've been dealing with some really hard mental health issues that have stopped me from drawing completely. every day i wish and hope so hard that i can draw again, even if its not like it was, it hurts that i lost it and i want it back more than anything. it's a one small step at a time kind of thing unfortunately–i'll be back in some capacity one day :'3 i'm not gonna abandon my accounts, drawing sparklecats is my entire life and i've been doing it forever! i juust wanted to make a post so everyone knows im Ok and i will come back someday ^_^

about 2 years ago (unsure of the exact time), i blocked acidneko and several of his associates from this blog–i really loved their art styles and we have a lot of similar inspiration, but i did not like their actions and who they associated with, and so i distanced myself from acidneko and others in a similar boat

i do not associate with him or his friends–i do not condone any kind of harassment on both sides, which is why i did not name any names on either side when this initially happened. thank you for asking politely though, i knew it was probably better to make a statement publicly at some point due to the fact that we still occupy the same artistic niche

for those who will see this ask, i myself do not have access to the proof and other things i have previously seen that made me want to distance myself from that side of the community, so i do not have any arguments to provide in my favor. i would prefer that those who agree with the actions of acidneko and his associates do not interact with my content, but i can't stop anyone from doing so. i prefer to block and move on, as i have done years ago

again, thank you for the polite inquiry, i am not and have not been a fan of acidneko (and associate's) work for a long time and i do not support the actions i've seen. that being said, i would prefer to no longer comment publicly on this issue to avoid harassment being sent either way, though my messages should be open
