Jewel in the desert :)
[Orpheus was a poor boy, but he had a gift to give. He could make you see how the world could be, in spite of the way that it is... And Eurydice was a young girl, but she'd seen how the world was. When she fell, she fell in spite of herself, in love with Orpheus]
These are the panels I took from, both are in 'The Wild Beast Unleased', and the scene starts about 11 minutes into the episode
Originally I liked tying Hadestown to these two because Eurydice was a girl who fought on her own, which doesn’t stay the case when she meets Orpheus, and she is constantly pushed with her reading the wind and storms for her safety- and it what leads to her death, she sees the world for it's truth. Kyouya was a boy who 'fought alone' and is a 'lone lion', which doesn't stay the case the longer he sticks with Gingka and gets 'softer' for a lack of better words, and then he makes storms and controls the wind- which also is kinda like her death in how it leads to his defeat (Like with his very first fight with Gingka), he also is one of the smarter people in the group and doesn't sugarcoat anything/ how people are- seen in how he can read that Hyouma is 'suspicious' from the start and in how he calls out the lack of action in adults before they go to Hades Cities. (Along with them joining Hades and Douji, respectively)
Orpheus is a free spirited poor boy who sees the good in life and the future, and he actively tries to fight and change how things are, but has an insecurity when it comes to his true strength/ his belief/ trust. Gingka is the same in nature. He traveled place to place and grew up in a hidden village in the woods. In the first episode, we see him sleep outside in multiple different places- completely chill with just sleeping under the stars. We see him fight for the hope of the future against Ryuga and become allies with him even after all that happened, we see him forgive Kyouya and Benkei as well, and the second trouble starts- he doesn't think before trying to do something about it. But we see when he goes back to Koma after losing against Ryuga he isn't completely sure of his own skills and the people around him, as well as in moments when he's with Galaxy Pegasus and getting used to her and in a few of his harder battles.
With these on my mind watching the scene I redrew to me was an instant omg- And a little shocking when I saw it wasn't a deliberate reference to at least the original myth in some way with the constant references in the beys to greek myths. The scene takes place in Kyouya's and Damian's battle- where when Damian opens 'Hades Gate' Leone (and Kyouya) enter in the gate on their own (Which you could turn into a tie to the musical with Eurydice signing the deal with Hades and "leaping into that life") where we see (After the attacks on Leone and almost being hit with chains himself) he gets set on fire and SCREAMS in pain. We are then shown Gingka- who stops in his rush because he thinks he hears Kyouya yelling (which is also just... bizarre as Masamune is instantly confused and completely thrown off going as far as asking, " What was that about?" meaning only Gingka heard it somehow?), and he turns around, and while Orpheus turning around at Eurydice's screams is not super common in retellings if even done (As I have not been able to find any but I also haven't fully looked) and not in the original, Gingka doesn't seem to just turn around because he hears Kyouya's screams- he seems to because he's anxious about his fight and almost has a fear of Kyouya not winning and the scream was the final straw
Orpheus turns around because of the fear that Eurydice isn't following him (in Hadestown, it's also because he doesn't believe he should be followed and that either Hades wouldn't let it happen or because Eurydice wouldn't follow him into 'the cold and dark again'), Gingka turned around because of his fear Kyouya wouldn't be able to follow him- his fear of Kyouya losing and not only not being able to save Toby and stop the doctor, but also losing Kyouya (It isn't in a means of doubting Kyouya- it is the same as Orpheus' fear of losing Eurydice- its a natural human fear caused by the bonds we develope with other people) (Even though Kyouya has shown he'd follow Gingka if he could face him- Gingka has a hard time understanding that especially at the beginning with Kyouya not joining the Japanese team and constantly being separate and even just his " I didn't come to save you or anything" Gingka could also have that insecurity of Kyouya not wanting to follow him if they were in a true Kyouya went to hell and Gingka has to lead him out situation)
