"Vincent..." Isabelle bit down on her lower lip as she sucked in a breathe, averting her eyes towards the ground. "I... um... I'm with Kai now. I just... I felt like you should know."
"You…what?"Vincent looked up at Isabelle, a hint of anger showing on his dark features. He then masked it for a smile, a short laugh coming out of his mouth. “Oh, so THAT’S how we’re playing it, aren’t we?” He said, sounding rather annoyed but uplifted. He stood up, knowing exactly what game he was going to play too. “You just couldn’t decide until now, could you?” "When here I thought you loved me, even just for a little while…." He took a step towards her, his eyes glimmering mischievously. "Go on, HAVE Kai. He’s a blumbering idiot who doesn’t know how to get out of a card board box. Is that REALLY what you want? Someone who’s so….naive and simple minded.""It’s a shame really, for someone to stoop so low." He was calm sounding, taking her hand and bringing it up to his face for him to kiss it. Warm lips pressed against the back of her hand gently. He looked up at her, chocolate eyes peering into her soul. "You did this, even knowing that I loved you-that I STILL love you…..""And here I thought you’d also give me a chance, you did for a while though." He purred, taking her hand to his cheek. "Didn’t you like those times we were together? Didn’t you think I treated you well? Just remember it Iz….""But I guess we can never happen, seeing how you’re with Kai." He sighed, sounding slightly saddened. He let go of her hand, letting it drop to her side and walked off, facing his back towards her. "Because you choose who you choose…and who am I to stop you….But let me ask  you this.."He turned around slowly, looking over his shoulder."Do you still love me Isabelle?"
As soon as she got up, tearing herself from his arms Vincent knew. He knew she was thinking about Kai, just as he was. He didn’t stop her as she wandered around the room, picking  up her clothes spouting that she had to leave. It angered Vincent, knowing that no matter in these tender moments she couldn’t be his. But it also made sense to him. She had just finally committed herself to him, and Vincent ripped her away.
What a monster he was. "Isabelle wait." He spoke up, sitting up in his bed now. She had to feel something for the Earth God, this wasn’t just mindless sex to him…but was it for her? He feared for the worst. Biting down on his bottom lip he looked up at her with a pained expression. "Is this….." He began, reaching out to her. "Is leaving me, really what you want?"
Isabelle felt herself freeze, her back facing the God as she held her clothes in her arms, still mostly bare. She could feel her body shaking ever so slightly, mind swirling with many different thoughts and emotions. Why did she think that coming here to see Vincent - alone - would be a good idea…?
"Vincent.. please…" She whispered at his question, feeling tears begin to build in her eyes once more, unable to look at him; even when his fingers brushed over her skin. "I just…"
"… Stop making me out to be the bad person… Please…" She pleaded under her breath, blonde hair falling in her face. "I just… W-What do you want me to do??"
Her head swung back to face him, stray tears slipping down her cheeks. “I-I mean— I’m not trying to hurt you! I don’t want anyone to get hurt! Yes, we— We had a thing, and we were really good! I wasn’t faking any of it; when we were together. But, I just— then you… and I…!”
Isabelle shook her head quickly, unable to get the words out as a hand covered her mouth, more tears forming. “… I just… Vincent… please, I… I can’t…”
"Iz...." "Look." He folded his hands together and sighed heavily, looking up at her with his dark eyes. He was feeling everything and nothing now, it all felt numb. It was how he protected himself, what else could he do? The pain that he felt now, to be rejected felt unbeatable. But still hi looked up at the one who was causing all of this. 'I don't want you...." "I don't want you to feel like you're the bad guy, because you are not." He spoke up, guilt clearly shown on the God's face. He looked down at his hands, clenching them into fists. He knew he'd pay for his bad morals, and this was it. "I'm sorry that I helped you make this mistake." "You can...go if you want." He mentioned, his shoulders falling into a slump. She was so scared and confused, and honestly? So was he. "I won't stop you." They had shared a totally tender and intimate action with each other, and everything felt real. Even Isabelle admitted it. Vincent looked up, staring through Isabelle with a blank expression. He felt so empty in this moment, so broken. He gave her everything, and she threw it away. No one had ever made Vincent feel this way. "Just go Isabelle, go back to Kai..." He said, a single tear falling from his eye and running down his cheek. He could barely hold them back. "Just go and be happy, because you arent going to be with me."
