Made some flatbread today
Knit sweater
Cotton yarn, silver heart is embroidered.
I'm pleased how this turned out. Lots of imperfections, but none of them are really visible.
Can you tell that my little girl loves pink? 😁
Little hearts alpaca cowl
Knit with two strands of handspun alpaca yarn (made by me), lining made of t-shirt fabric.
The hearts are embroidered using duplicate stitch (this purple yarn is drops alpaca)
Knit cowl made of handspun alpaca yarn
I got some alpaca fleece last spring (thanks to my hubby ☺️), which I washed, carded/combed, then spun to yarn. Knitting on 2mm needles, lined with T-shirt fabric.
I love to work with alpaca, soooo soft.
Taking photos of this wasn't easy, it's a really dark brown, almost black, and not as shiny as it seem on the pics.
Handspun yarn for embroidery
Phone pocket
Inspired by 18th century tie-on pockets
Earrings
Embroidered with handspun wool, with some beading.
Made for a friend, for her birthday
Apron
Main fabric: thick linen fabric
Strap: handwoven band I made a while ago
Pockets: leftover linen fabric (from making our curtains)
All the yarn I spun from the wool roving I got for Christmas. Some I left as singles, I plan to weave with those.
I knit a potholder from the thickest yarn.
Some smaller weaving projects:
Small rug
Shoelaces for my skates, because I couldn't find any that are long, but also thin enough so they would fit.
New key fob (the old one was quite tattered)
