Participants were invited to break away from preconceived notions about what a drawing ‘should’ be and explore new ideas, techniques, and materials that will engage their students in shared drawing experiences. The session was broken down into several drawing ice-breakers, designed to help participants take ownership of drawing processes, experiment with creative mark-making and observation, and then complete a final exercise where participants creatively combined elements of the previous exercises into individual collages.
