it's been almost a year since publishing no tall towers to climb, the free laios/marcille fanthology :) here is my 6-page post-canon comic that i made for it that i really did mean to post at some point sooner in the last year but oh well here it is now. i loved doing this. i loved it.
This was my first ever fanart after finishing the manga, whatever the nature of their relationship is I just think they make for the perfect trio and I love them dearly.
After that I worked on many laicille content that I'll post here too and currently started a little farcille comic about their school days.
i know it's been three years and no one really talked about tenet in the first place but I'm still so insane about protagoneil. like you meet the love of your life for the second time but he's never met you before and you spend years getting to know each other before he has to leave and you know you'll never see him again because that's the way it has to be, because the timeline demands it. except you meet the love of your life for the first time but he's known you for years and you're just starting to fall for him when he chooses to die for you because that's the way it is, because the continuity demands it, because hes been marked for death since the beginning. and so you grieve but you move forward because time somehow marches ever on but then you meet the love of your life for the second time and he shakes your hand with a grin and only you know that you've already killed him.
Imagine if you will, these two at the start of their relationship, Luciano taking a more proactive role as he's used to doing, and Martín being all 'wtf do you think you're doing'. I just think Lu would find that hot
Love this skin deeply, it's adorable in every way.
Hopefully this is okay to add here and might be helpful to someone: there are a few elements that the skin doesn't color (the "Freeze Thread" button on comments on your own works, and the backgrounds for series blurbs and sometimes the backgrounds for work blurbs when looking at the works within a series).
If you want to match those to the rest of the skin, you can do it by adding the green lines below. Only the green lines! The other lines are from the skin already. Just ctrl+f for the other lines in the skin and drop the green lines in. (Remember that each line of the specifications needs to ends with a comma, except for the last line which ends with a curly bracket.)
When I was younger tulips never occured to me as anything special, but they´ve really grown on me the past few years. They´re such simplistic, yet uniquely shaped flowers!
"Liminal" means "boundary" as in "the veil is thin here"
Liminal spaces are places that feel dreamlike, fuzzy on reality. Their boundaries are unstable. A bus station at night. A long desert highway. A bridge over a river.
They do, however, have an opposite; the Proximal space. These are places that feel far too real, extremely defined, boundaries that seem to override natural forces like time or space. Large warehouses without windows, identical chain stores at disorienting hours, your home after a nap of indeterminate time.
The traditional liminal space is the crossroads. Liminal spaces are places you travel through, but never stay. Motels in the middle of nowhere. Airports. Places like that.
The traditional proximal space is the monument. Anywhere that exists but isn't really "used" for anything. Their presence resists use, closer to landscape than location.
Look we have records of Medieval Knights crying out in their sleep, having emotional outbursts or flinching at the sound of clashing metal. We have records of people all through history who were treated badly by people who should have loved them, and having problems knowing who to trust. We have years worth of artists putting their human pain at broken hearts and broken promises into music that makes us cry.
Yes people have been traumatized by awful things for all of history and just like them You didn’t deserve to be hurt either.
