just wrapped up my playthrough of HL a few days ago and Sebastian just became my new favorite even though i kinda find the narrative of this game really sucks... 😇

THIS IS SO HARD oh god ummmmm umm. timothee chalamet as saparata and sadie sink as stellareyn boom done. kidding (mostly (actually there's sort of a vision with sadie as stella (idk))). i honestly don't know enough actors for this LOL i haven't kept up with the film industry in like a year and now i've forgotten everyone who exists ever.
can we just have ish play himself with cgi to make him look older i think that'd be funny. honestly let's just throw a lot of the face revealed people in to play themselves, go my spidey and gray and thomas! i believe in you guys!

I think theres a chance that if zora and jawhn made it back to lazarus, and if zora got any kinda leader role there (she would, shes strong and has experience) zora wouldnt be doing well there either. Sure, she wants to get better, to be better, but going back to the same exact environment that gave her that amount of trauma doesnt seem as the most thought out plan. (Even if lazarus is a smaller group with lower stakes)
Importantat to note, given zoras response to that trauma, there is no way to tell how shed react if something went wrong again (as it did with salvation), or like. To absolutely anything in that position
Also think jawhn being able to excuse zoras actions says a lot about him, not exactly sure what tho (his moral code is So intersting to me - it almost seems to be more learnt in theory then something he actually feels - he knows whats good and bad and wants to do good, but he so often does not take the evil shit people around him do with the gravity it deserves)
Back to zora, her switching between extremes is fun,,, she was obviously eager to get back into saving and helping people because she missed it. But also, maybe she just doesnt remember how to do anything else?
-> i think lazarus would still be the relatively ideal outcome for her, only if she first learned how to save herself first? Maybe.... (second thought, zora was doomed from the start, from the moment elizabeth locked the door

thanks for the ask completely anonymous user I DO WANT TO YAP ABOUT THE QUAD!!!! AND I WILL!!!!!!!! this might not be very coherent but ill try my best
they care about each other to the point they will completely take the blame for when something happens to the other. they always think of each other before themselves to the point of self-sacrifice and it makes me SICKKK !!!
when mike finds out rotation got infected after he fell he says sorry and mentions how he “shouldnt have left him”. when mike inevitably sacrifices himself to cure rotation, rotation’s immediate thought is to give his life to cure grayleigh because she would deserve it more. in grayleigh’s final moments before turning, her final words are reassuring rotation she loves him and that whatever happens, she doesnt want to hurt her friends. in session 6 before mike’s sacrifice, meagon joins snowbird to try to force someone into the machine to cure rotation; when it doesn’t work, she thinks “why did I do that? that’s not who I am.” but she put her own morals aside because for a brief moment, her only thought was “I have to try and save them both”.
not to even mention the line “there could be no greater purpose for my life then to give it to them” from mike’s final note. or the various allusions to grayleigh having self-esteem issues and pushing her feelings aside to comfort others. or meagon reiterating “as long as all of us are alive, that’s all I care about”.
but as much as it hurts them, that selflessness is ultimately what helps rotation heal. as time went on, whenever he spiralled and was constantly being told by his own hallucinations of venus that his friend’s deaths are all his fault and they don’t care about him, he had someone next to him telling him those sacrifices happened because they loved him and always will no matter what. (I mean there’s something to be said about meagon literally dragging him away from venus in session 9!!) he learns to move on and live for himself rather than living while viewing himself as someone else’s burden
theres probably a lot more thoughts I have related to this but this is what I have right now. OHHH YEAH the line in mike’s note where he acknowledges that even though meagon might not fully trust him, he trusts her entierly especially to protect grayleigh and rotation. ok #whatever
yeah thats it. fuck my stupid quad life I hate them and I love them dearly
