A little heads up that one of the BIGGEST and most respected creators in the anti willoverse is profic. They're quite open about it in the server, actually. We've seen screenshots of them openly admitting to it, and infact, someone reacted with an up arrow, indicating that they, too, are also profic. I was not allowed into the server due to my 'stances' in which I'm assuming is the fact that we simply do not wish to interact with people who are perisex binary men identifying as lesbians as well as perisex binary women who identify as gay men. Otherwise I genuinely would've gotten more proof of this claim. I find myself a bit grossed out to know that we once supported someone who was profic without even knowing, and I do wish to let other people know so they don't do the same. Incest, SA, and other shit like that shouldn't be romantasized in fiction. It's disgusting. While I do think that SOME media should cover it, it should be in a way that shows the harm it does rather than what looks like a disgusting porno for men to get off to. This may be a hot take, but idk. I'm frustrated that people are profic and don't at least give a warning for people to block them if they are uncomfortable by it.

Praying for the day that those losers like that anon learn the difference between being a paraphilia/having a paraphilia and being a person with a paraphilic disorder/having a paraphilic disorder, because they're two entirely different things, but people like that anon do nothing but use two different terms interchangeably for one another.
I think it's also pretty telling of the type of person someone is if you say "pedophiles/zoophiles/necrophiles" are bad—they immediately think you're shunning people who suffer from the paraphilic disorder rather than what those terms actually refer to: predators.
I hate the "pro-para" community so much as a person with a paraphilic disorder because it does nothing but center around general paraphilias—rather than people with a paraphilic disorder—and encourages trauma reenactment and hides behind people who actually struggle whenever confronted.

The person talking to you and saying you’re illiterate is an idiot. Like an absolute idiot. We live every single day with fantasies related to being abused again. Which isn’t a paraphilia, it’s a very common trauma response to want to be abused again, but I get the stigma of being ashamed by it. But you know what? We keep it to ourself and work it out with our therapist. It’s not that hard to do. Anyone who posts publicly about it while fantasizing about it online don’t actually want to get better. You keep that between you and the mental health professionals. Maybe a support group. And let’s be honest, most paras on Tumblr don’t want either.

unfortunately it is an all too common trauma response, and it does not necessarily make the person with the thoughts inherently 'bad' unless they choose to act on those thoughts in any manner, per se.
we too have found ourself yearning to be back in an old abusive relationship , because that is what the brain does. It will latch onto familiarities like that, even when we know they're harmful.
for someone to go online, indulge with a community of those who aren't looking for help, and publicize their fantasies, is not healing. it's not even an attempt at healing.
i know it may not be my place to say anything , and I apologize if it isn't , but I'd like to say how proud I am of you and everyone else who is actively seeking help to curb and cope with these thoughts and desires. it can be hard to admit the things in your head while knowing it's wrong, and seeking help is incredible of you.
