I'm sick of people saying female characters are "reduced" to being a love interest when they fall in love or get married or show up unconditionally for their male partners. I've heard people say their character is ruined, whatever that means.

People are allowed to want love.

Women are allowed to seek out love. That doesn't make them any less women, or any less strong, or any less ambitious.
