I'm a scientist/engineer so if you need help just ask..but I'm known for being clumsy...but that doesn't matter...hehe.. Lalna had been called into yoglabs to do some sort of experiment as he arrived he saw Xephos and he waved wondering if he was here for the experiment too?. Doing experiments was something Lalna did everyday but he didn't know he was the one getting experimented soon as they opened the door two scientists came up behind them and injected the needles into their arms before making a run for it. Lalna fell to his knees as he held his arm he groaned in pain as he fell completely to the floor.

“Hey! You said you’d put em in on the count of… 3!” Xephos said, slumping to the ground, growing unconscious.

What felt like a century (but was actually half an hour) soon passed and he woke up, slowly blinking as his blurred vision returned to normal. Xephos clambered back up, using a lab table for support, slowly he edged across it putting his body weight until he reached a medicine cabinet and peered inside. Unaware of Lalna’s whereabouts, Xephos scraped through the cabinet until he stumbled into a mirror, his hand knocked it and it fell to the ground, shattering into shards.

Xephos grumbled and bent down to pick up a shard, accidentally cutting his palm in the process. Xephos cursed and waved his hand around, but raised his eyebrow as he watched the cut instantaneously heal over. “L-Lalna?” Xephos asked, examining the cut now barely visible.

Xephos eventually stopped and went over to the sink to wash his hands and empty out the cup of coffee. “No problem. Is there anything you fancy doing before it’s our first night of staying here?” He asked, although he knew that they had stayed back late at night here before.

Lalna looked at Xephos with a raised eyebrow “there’s not much a dog that can’t walk can do..so I don’t know..” Lalna answered his friend before looking at his leg.

“Well we’ll figure something out. I don’t know about you but a nap sounds good right now.” Xephos said, taking care of Lalna taking its toll on him slowly.

“I don't know...the first couple of times I fell asleep was one when u couldn't breath and was passing out and two was when you knocked me out..” Lalna said with a sigh feeling useless as he just laid there doing nothing. Lalna wanted to walk and he just wanted to be human. He looked at his leg before attempting to stand up and walk a couple if steps but he could hardly stand he lasted at least 1 minute before his legs gave up and he collapsed back down making him whimper as he hit his leg and wound.

Xephos clumsily bumped into Lalna as they turned the corner, falling on top of him as they toppled down. His face, mere millimetres from Lalna’s. “Oh uh sorry…” Xephos said, lying on top of him in the middle of the hallway.

He knew he was going to hate it especially with his face bow and glasses. He took a deep breath before walking in with lom by his side before sitting down at a row of chairs before looking around the hall waiting on the new pupils and the teachers.

Xephos walked into the hall on his first day of school, a feeling of excitement in his stomach as he headed in. He took his seat next to an odd looking boy and waited for the starting assembly to begin.

“I guess we just have to really. Who’s this Sjin boy you were talking about?” Xephos asked curiously, the name ringing in his ears delightfully. But Lalna was unaware of that. Xephos began jotting down stuff written on the board as the teacher wrote it out. Now they were given work to do, the teacher had told them to socialise a bit and talk as they worked. Giving Xephos the perfect time to get to know Lalna.

Lalna jotted down what ever the teacher wrote on the white board before being giving the worksheet and quickly finishing it before bring his attention to Xephos question “hm?, Oh Sjins one of my greatest mates ever even if he had a crush in my sister but that didn’t last long when he met sips who he has a massive crush on him..if you wanna meet him he’s not hard to find..he wears a bright orange hoodie and grey beanie and a frozen bag..he’s a really great friend even if he does tease me I end up doing it back so it’s great and stuff” he smiled again before looking up at the clock before back at Xephos he did hear hisself pronouncing things wrong but he couldn’t help it was braces causing him to speak wrong.

Xephos thought Sjin sounded pretty awesome, like a good friend. With a smile, Xephos nodded understandingly, knowing what it was like to have a friend like that. “This school doesn’t seem so bad, but who knows its only the first day.”

“I’m sure it’ll get worser..it’s school..” He laughed before checking over his work making sure every last question was answered before looking back at Xephos “do you have any best friends?” Lalna asked trying not to be rude “or have you just moved to town? Because I’ve never saw you around” Lalna said with another smile just trying to be kind.

“Uh I just moved. But I didn’t have that many friends in my old school so it didn’t really matter.” Xephos explained with an undetectable sigh. Xephos didn’t like school.

“Aw right I’ve been in this town all my life so I’ve knew sjin for a while and other people” he smiled at Xephos “well I guess you get to start new!” Lalna said trying to cheer up the moment feeling bad for xephos “em..if you’d like..you could come to mine after school?” He asked trying to brighten up this class and he kinda wanted to make friends with Xephos.

Xephos tried to hide the excitement bubbling inside of him but it was no use. “Of course! I mean sure okay.” He said, trying to play it cool. The nerd began his work after that, they chatted quietly throughout the lesson and got all the work done.

Lalna laughed before doing his work now and then talking to Xephos funding things out about him. He seemed like a cool nerd which was pretty much all of lalnas friends. “We can do experiments and read comics and also play online games!” Lalna said getting excited thinking about it.

“That sounds like fun. I’d love to. Thank you.” Xephos replied now slowly calming down, although once the bell rang at the end of the lesson he soon became delighted again. “One more lesson then break. Do you have history next? I do.”

Lalna grinned widely as he looked to his newest friend as he packed his books and pencil in his bag and slinging it on his back. “Hm?, oh yeah I have history and then break and then art” he said remembering his classes for once.

What felt like a century (but was actually half an hour) soon passed and he woke up, slowly blinking as his blurred vision returned to normal. Xephos clambered back up, using a lab table for support, slowly he edged across it putting his body weight until he reached a medicine cabinet and peered inside. Unaware of Lalna’s whereabouts, Xephos scraped through the cabinet until he stumbled into a mirror, his hand knocked it and it fell to the ground, shattering into shards.

Xephos grumbled and bent down to pick up a shard, accidentally cutting his palm in the process. Xephos cursed and waved his hand around, but raised his eyebrow as he watched the cut instantaneously heal over. “L-Lalna?” Xephos asked, examining the cut now barely visible.

Lalna let out a puppy whimper and he looked down at the desk with his head resting on his front paws. “..I hope so..” He mumbled as he looked to Xephos “they’ve not even got cure yet…” He said “I heard before I passed out and then I heard you swearing and then knocking me out completely..” He said since now his ears were sensitive and able to hear much more around him.

“Come on Lalna you know it takes a while to make those kind of things. Besides there’s plenty of time with your leg in the state it’s in. I hate to tell you but Yog Labs is already short on staff and overworked as it is.” He nagged on, reclining in his seat.

He knew he was going to hate it especially with his face bow and glasses. He took a deep breath before walking in with lom by his side before sitting down at a row of chairs before looking around the hall waiting on the new pupils and the teachers.

Xephos walked into the hall on his first day of school, a feeling of excitement in his stomach as he headed in. He took his seat next to an odd looking boy and waited for the starting assembly to begin.

“I guess we just have to really. Who’s this Sjin boy you were talking about?” Xephos asked curiously, the name ringing in his ears delightfully. But Lalna was unaware of that. Xephos began jotting down stuff written on the board as the teacher wrote it out. Now they were given work to do, the teacher had told them to socialise a bit and talk as they worked. Giving Xephos the perfect time to get to know Lalna.

Lalna jotted down what ever the teacher wrote on the white board before being giving the worksheet and quickly finishing it before bring his attention to Xephos question “hm?, Oh Sjins one of my greatest mates ever even if he had a crush in my sister but that didn't last long when he met sips who he has a massive crush on him..if you wanna meet him he's not hard to find..he wears a bright orange hoodie and grey beanie and a frozen bag..he's a really great friend even if he does tease me I end up doing it back so it's great and stuff” he smiled again before looking up at the clock before back at Xephos he did hear hisself pronouncing things wrong but he couldn't help it was braces causing him to speak wrong.

Lalna had been called into yoglabs to do some sort of experiment as he arrived he saw Xephos and he waved wondering if he was here for the experiment too?. Doing experiments was something Lalna did everyday but he didn't know he was the one getting experimented soon as they opened the door two scientists came up behind them and injected the needles into their arms before making a run for it. Lalna fell to his knees as he held his arm he groaned in pain as he fell completely to the floor.

“Hey! You said you’d put em in on the count of… 3!” Xephos said, slumping to the ground, growing unconscious.

What felt like a century (but was actually half an hour) soon passed and he woke up, slowly blinking as his blurred vision returned to normal. Xephos clambered back up, using a lab table for support, slowly he edged across it putting his body weight until he reached a medicine cabinet and peered inside. Unaware of Lalna’s whereabouts, Xephos scraped through the cabinet until he stumbled into a mirror, his hand knocked it and it fell to the ground, shattering into shards.

Xephos grumbled and bent down to pick up a shard, accidentally cutting his palm in the process. Xephos cursed and waved his hand around, but raised his eyebrow as he watched the cut instantaneously heal over. “L-Lalna?” Xephos asked, examining the cut now barely visible.

“Don’t do that. Just lie down and give it a rest. We didn’t know this was going to happen, neither did they it was a double blind trial. As soon as that legs alright we’ll turn you back I promise.”

Xephos lifted his head back and fell asleep as their head teacher began the speech to the entire school, new and old. The giant hall they were in looked like an assembly hall or lecture room, but Xephos hadn’t cared much since he fell asleep.

Soon as the assembly was over students were looking at their new time table lalnas face light up when he saw he had Biology and then chemistry which he was pleased with while Lomadia groaned as she had pe first and then music. “Hey Braceface don’t blow up the labs you’ve done that too many times at home” Lomadia laughed looking up at her brother.

“I know..and you don’t go picking fights with people..” He laughed showing his braces and other parts around his mouth.

He continued to sleepy peacefully, without knowing what the head teacher was talking about. Their conversation echoed through his ear.

“Hm, I guess so” Lomadia answered her brother before walking over to the boy and tapped his shoulder “hm, hi I thought we should wake you because classes are starting soon and stuff” Lomadia said with a smile while Lalna looked at him with a smile showing his braces. “Hey!” Lalna waved slightly looking at the lanky boy.

Xephos woke up to see Lomadia for the first time in his life. He thought he was dreaming again. He looked at her for a moment, baffled by how soft and nice her voice sounded in his ears. “Uh…oh thank you. Hi, I’m X-Xephos.” He said shyly at the two.

Lomadia giggled at his awaking standing up straight next to her brother “it’s our pleasure, Hi again I’m Lomadia and brace face here is my brother Lalna, it’s nice to meet you Xephos?” He said with a sweet smile at the boy. Sjin walked up to Lalna with a smile “wow..your retainer got a upgrade..” Sjin laughed as he looked at Lalna “hm?, yeah I got it in the holidays..they said I’ve got a overbite and stuff..” Lalna explained before walking with sjin to chemistry “ouch!..no luck then haha” sjin laughed as the approached the science class “well see ya sjin” he said with a smile before walking into chemistry he looked around the only seat free was next to the boy called Xephos he walked in and sat down beside the Lanky boy and got his books and pencil out.

Lalna looked at Xephos with one of his ears perked up “I’m really not sure if I’m hungry or not..being a dog weird..” He said before plopping his head back down with his tail slightly wagging as he smelt the food cooking making his tail wag more.

“Judging from this I take it you do want something to eat. I’ve never had a dog before so I don’t really know what’s good for you to eat…” Xephos thought to himself for a moment, standing in queue to order.

“Your asking the wrong person I’ve only had cats and you know that unless you count the owl Lomadia had as a teen” Lalna said looking up at his mate before his nose began sniffing away everything smelt better than usual.

“Uh… Dogs eat meat and you liked meat before you were a dog so… Would you like a steak or something?” Xephos asked Lalna, for once he didn’t know what to do. Xephos stood patiently in line with Lalna sat contently in his arms like a child.

“I don’t know Xephos…I’ll basically eat anything I guess…” Lalna mumbled looking at Xephos getting more Comfy in his arms while they waited. “Xephos? What do I do if I need the toilet?” Lalna asked with one ear up.

“Your way to excited for that..” He laughed looking at his mate before his nose began sniffing at the sausage and brownie. His tail began wagging like hell as he panted with his tongue out.

Xephos handed him the sausage and wandered back down to his desk. He took a seat in his chair and placed Lalna on the desk with his coffee and brownie on the other side. “I’m not. It’s just until your legs well enough for you to move and go home.”

Lalna held the sausage in his mouth before chewing on it and taking small bites “I can’t even walk with this leg..and I don’t even feel that great..I wish I could go home…Nano’s..going to he upset..it’s our anniversary tomorrow..” He sighed before taking another bite of his sausage as he laid sprawled out on the desk.

“She’ll come up and visit you. I have a feeling that she won’t want to be apart from you.” He smiled omnisciently, his arms folded as he sat by his desk, looking at Lalna. “That transformations messed you up. At least you now know not to do a drug test. Can’t believe I got a super hero one.”

“Aren't you lucky...I get to stay a dog with a broken leg taking dizzy turns..how fun..” He mumbled looking at Xephos as he finished his sausage and licked his mouth and his nose. “This is me trying to walk..” He mumbled before attempting to walk he felt like a deer trying to walk on ice. He kept his broken leg up as his other legs shakes till they gave away and landed back down all sprawled out.
