Liam chuckled slightly before putting his hand over his mouth trying to let it escape quietly. When the laughter had gone, Liam looked to Jessie then his grandparents and smiled as they began to speak.

“Hello, dear” she said, smiling before hugging her and kissing her cheek while Liam and his grandpa talked in hushed tones and huge smiles.

“Come inside, I hope you don’t mind a lot of talking. It’s just we’ve heard so much about you!” She said smiling.

Jess bit back a grin at Liam's throaty chuckle and resisted the urge to kiss him in front of the two very people who were the main judges of how perfect their relationship really was. Somehow, it was important to her that they approved of her.

She did crack a grin when she was embraced by Liam's grandmother. She smiled at the old man as well when she was released. She still kept hold of Grandma's hand to revel in the feeling of having a grandparent around. Her mother's parents were long since deceased and her grandfather had been a man who'd gotten custody of her father and had died a Death Eater. Not the ideal family, you see.

Jess did something very uncharacteristic at the statement: she started blushing. "I..uh... Yeah, me too. Liam talks about you a lot. Your hot chocolate made me very happy the other night when Liam made it for me..." she said, looking at Liam, blushing harder, at the thought of the outcome of that hot-chocolate.

Jess smiled a the elderly woman standing in the doorway smiling at them. She honestly hoped her panic wasn't evident in her expression or she would fall apart. It was odd because Jess wasn't one for insecurity or nervousness... But, she also had never been in love with anyone before so meeting someone's grandparents hadn't been a big deal to her.

Now, however, it was important to have them like her. "H-hello." she smiled and dig her nails deeper into Liam's palm.
