It’s noticeable we often see them framed this way, particularly in important moments for their relationship. Facing us, on a level, grounded, partners.

Interestingly, in their two main moments of conflict and miscommunication they are framed sitting on the “wrong” side (e.g. Greg on the right and Rebecca on the left) and don’t face the camera but each other head on - Jayma’s wedding and Raging Waters. We know that something is wrong here in the same way as we know that something feels familiar and right in the important climatic scene of 4x16 at the mechanics.
