“The horrible controversial statements of the Church” - Fr. Sciarappa
“Put your heart at His feet. It is the gift He loves most.”
— St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (via saintquotes)
Who I am in Christ
“You have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.”
— St. Francis of Assisi
Each woman who lives in light of eternity can fulfill her vocation, no matter if it is in marriage, in a religious order, or in a worldly profession.
St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (via catherine-of-alexandria)
we did not earn his love, we were born into it.
“I know the plans I have for you,” announces the Lord. “I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come. Jeremiah 29:11
Depression loses when:
you get out of bed because there’s something you’re excited about.
you don’t think about people who left.
you clean the clutter in the room and dishes in your sink.
you work out or meet with friends even though you have no energy to.
you can calm yourself down when you’re thoughts race.
you remember to drink water.
you don’t dwell on things you can’t control.
you do things good for yourself, even though you have no motivation.
you tell yourself that you’re growing from this, and you won’t feel like this forever.
“You’re exhausted in the faith because you’re looking at you. The more you look at yourself and the less you look at God, the more you get frustrated at yourself.”
— Matt Chandler
