Or maybe Yusuke, the “actor,” prefers his hair like this when he’s out of character…

OMG! You can totally make an Actor AU with the Yu Yu Hakusho characters with just these pics alone! Why hasn’t anyone done it yet?

This image greatly reflects a taste of each respective character’s aesthetic, with a bit of a twist to what we’re used to seeing them look to make the ad unique.

A YYH Actor AU has been done and created by the Togashi himself.

In 1993, Togashi and a few friends made a doujinshi and in it, there’s a YYH Actor AU. Yusuke’s “actor” does INDEED like his hair down. Togashi went all out, creating names for the actors who “portray” the YYH characters in this AU and hints of their differing personalities.

The actor AU story is only 4 pages long but trust me, it’s worth the read.

Maneki Mochi-Neko x Yu Yu Hakusho (Bandai)

Looks like more merch has been announced for the Maneki Mochi-Neko x YYH collab. As far as collabs go, this one is somewhat boring, but ofc I have to post about it. New items in this collection include die cut towels, drawstring pouches, hair ties, and good luck charms. Orders can be placed on CD Japan and the items will be released in March 2018.
