South Korea? Trump's 'Where Are You From' Moment

Donald Trump interrupted an Asian-American student this week to ask if he was from South Korea. "I was born in Texas," he responded.

I can’t believe this guy is still in the race! First off, didn’t he learn anything from trying to prove Obama wasn’t an America?! I mean seriously! Someone comes up and asks you a serious question, you cut him off and ask where he’s from? America, which he keeps promising to make it great again, is a ‘melting-pot’ country meaning we all have ancestors from different countries. Second, he didn’t even answer the questions. Instead, Trump goes off about the one thing he does know about, spending. He list off three countries (Japan, Germany and South Korea) that America is defending but get’s nothing in return. During this rant, he also mentions how he bought so many televisions from South Korea for a project because Sony was out of the picture for some reason.

While he was gong off on his little rant, I did notice the group of people chosen to sit behind him were not cheering at his words. Trump did leave pauses which I assume he was hoping for a round of applause but it was very small.

If Mr. Trump want’s to be taken seriously as a political figure, maybe he should work in politics to understand how everything works. Blowing off serious questions can only get him so far.

Let’s take a moment to remember Billy Crystal played Jodi Dallas on the 1977 show SOAP. Jodi is seen through out the show struggling with being gay. The start of the show has him talking to his mother, Mary, about a sex-change operation. As the show goes on, Jodi reveals to be more bi-sexual (in my opinion) as he has relationships with two women while at the same time struggling with his feeling for a professional football player. All of this was in a show shot in the FUCKING 70s PEOPLE!!!!!!! They may not have handled it like we would today but it was the 70s and these topics were not discussed like today!
