New custom Spray Can Anglepoise Lamp by artist Farkfk just been installed at the exhibition at Aspex Gallery, Gunwharf. The exhibition finishes on 16th March.
Design mega-star Sir Kenneth Grange made a special appearance at Aspex Gallery yesterday to view the Creating Balance exhibition. He was joined by journalist and photographer Barbara Chandler and taken on a creative tour of the city by Anglepoise and The University of Portsmouth. One of the Anglepoise Lamps spent 3 months under the solent. You can now view it in the exhibition at Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth.
This was the collaboration between Paul Gonella and Tristan Savage working with David Jones from Triton Scuba.

Mix Match Monster Mash-Up workshop today at Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth. Run by artists Rob Luckins and Barry Abrook. A great turnout and here are some of the outcomes. All work will be on display with the main Creating Balance exhibition until 16th March.

The University of Portsmouth has a student TV station on campus called CCITV and today we were featured in a Creating Balance Special. Interviews with Simon Terry - Innovation & Brand Director, Anglepoise, Jack Daly - student and one of the participants, Paul Gonella - from Strong Island and one of the participants and Claire Sambrook - Project Leader and University Lecturer. Many thanks to all the students that filmed, edited and put the show together.
