Hello Mother’s Day, and my birthday. I was actually born on Mother’s Day, but the date of Mother’s Day changes every year. Wishing every woman a happy Mother’s Day. That includes all the aunties, dog moms, sisters step moms. I’m sitting down to a cup of coffee with some foamed almond milk, Chaga mushrooms and cacao powder. It’s a wonderful drink. It’s bake your dog a treat day 😀. I have the book by @itsbubbarose “organic dog biscuit cookbook “. I chose the recipe for “tuna snackers “. I had to change the ingredients some because I didn’t have oat bran so I used rolled oats instead. But they turned out anyway. I have cookie cutters in the shape of bones from le dogue that I had got from amazon. I used the small size. The recipe made quite a few treats. Dori tried one and loved it. I will freeze most of them and leave a few out at a time. It’s fun making the treats, and I know there is good ingredients. Dori has learned a new trick, working for her food. My brother in law showed me this idea with his dogs. I just took a tissue box and cut it to the size of a toilet paper roll. Then I also had a paper towel roll and that gave us some more rolls to fit in the box. An inexpensive-well free 🤣 training toy. I just put a few treats and some @stellaandchewys dog food in it. She loves finding the treats and food in it. So far she hasn’t destroyed the box or rolls. But we can always make more. I might also try and find a bigger box. I’m making progress on my sweater. I’ve started on the sleeves. The yarn is mostly yarn I’ve used for other projects, but I did buy one skein of yarn from @grandmaspinning_wheel . It blends in with the blue grey colors I used for the neck/yoke section. I like how it’s all blending together. This will be a warm sweater. Hello the end days of 2018. Getting ready for a new year. Finishing the last sleeve of a #spectorsweater and jumped ahead and started a #ramonasweater . The yarn for the Ramona sweater is a worsted weight yarn that is wool/alpaca blend. It is a color called obsidian. A neutral color for a change. I’ve been doing a lot of color work, so good to go neutral. I finished my #iamgrootcardigan #lyricalknits and love how it turned out. I got some nice buttons from #melissajeanbuttons and like them. The #peacefleece yarn is rustic and made with 75% Navajo Rambouillet and Domestic Fine wool, and 25% Mohair for strength. I found the cutest pattern for a gnome. Made this for a special little boy. This is Gnoamwandi, from the land of Gnod. He is a lucky gnome, who never gets mad or stressed out. Wherever he goes he carries good luck, blessings and peace to the people he meets. #bestof2017 today I’m spending a little time reviewing some of my best moments in 2017 and also looking to my plans for 2018. It was hard to fit it all in 9 panels 😂I am grateful for so many things. I did a lot of knitting, and created some beautiful things. For my pictures I had to include 2 awesome events . In February the birth of Maxon. And In August the wedding of Erik and Katie 💕. For knitting i learned how to do #briochestitch and also incorporated more cable stitch to make #cableknitsweater .
