Details.
First experiment with max msp to create graphics with music.
First ever game with Unity! Guess what number was I thinking?
Very very first experiment with Max Msp! Fun times ahead!
We've connected to kinect today and brought to life s skeleton!
KINECT + PROCESSING + CINEMA 4D
Today with the guys at RoomCR6 we connected Kinect with Processing and recorded some movement that we then imported in Cinema 4D.
Who knows what’s gonna happen now :)

MEDITATE TO FIND YOURSELF
This project is another attempt to visualise the experience of meditation. It takes into account the quest for self-awareness and mastery over oneself and uses them as an expression of Being.
The more you meditate, the more the pixels get close together and they (metaphorically) find themselves. The less you meditate, the more the get widespread and get apart.
HOW CAN DESIGN ENCOURAGE A MOMENT OF SELF-REFLECTION THROUGH THE USE OF MEDITATION? #part2

HOW CAN DESIGN ENCOURAGE A MOMENT OF SELF-REFLECTION THROUGH THE USE OF MEDITATION? #part1
Meditation is a technique to reach enlightenment by achieving self-awareness through concentration. The goal of the project is to encourage a moment of self-reflection by showing the change that meditation acts upon the Self.
I used an EEG reader to receive data from the ‘meditation wave’ (seen in the video). This data was analysed through Processing and act upon a portrait of the person meditating*. Every second correspond to a line of pixels and the RGB of the pixels is modified according to the data received in that particular moment. Democratically, if the number is above 50 (the whole data is considered between 0 and 100), it means the person is meditating and the R,G and B of the pixels are modified according to that number. If it’s below, nothing changes cause the person is ‘not meditating’.
The portraits create ‘Meditative Patterns’
*This is obtained by techniques of slow and deep breathing and focus on the breath itself.
Face Tracking: I am my Hallucination.
This is an interaction done with Processing. The camera detects the face of the person in front of the screen and a mask attaches to the face and follows each movement. A Face Recognition and Tracking. The hallucination takes over and re-creates the reality around. With the interaction I want to re-create this shifting the mind does, I want to reveal and disclose what happen in certain minds. I’d like to trim, or at least try, the boundaries between what is real and what is not. What happen if something that’s going on in the hallucination of the mind, starts happening in the reality? Does it make real, no? But still, it is an hallucination. I am not wearing a mask even though the screen shows I am. I recon computer interaction has the power to play around, re-write and re-interpret reality and hallucinations.
