Hi! I am a random person who hopped back into WOY! I’m loving this rarepair since honestly, I think the best ship for Peppers is a Watchdog. Not only is it good growth for him, he also has great chemistry with Terry (since we only really see Peepers interact with Hater and the Watchdogs day in and day out while his moments with Sylvia and Wander are grand but in small portions).

Oh yeah I agree! I do doodle other Peepers pairings on occassion but I struggle to get characters other than the watchdogs right, (The character designs in WOY are very good I just don't like my other sketches URGH!) so in practice I just end up posting Commanterry lmao

I think pairing Peepers up with a watchdog on the skullship is a great idea with the reasons you mentioned, close quarters, room for regular interaction, power dynamics, how they have to keep it all hush-hush due to the circumstances... it's very fun! And Terry! I love Terry. He rambles and is chill and good-natured and cares about his friends, and rolls with the punches so well that he agrees to Peepers' proposal nearly immediately and without complaint. He's a great contrast to Peepers and I especially love how he picks up on way more than he lets on, he's emotionally intelligent while Peepers is a repressed mess of insecurities and ambition and... I love Commanterry.

I have a big ol soft spot for grumpy × ray of sunshine pairings so I also like Wander x Peepers a lot, but they've talked like what, twice? In the entire show? Which means I have to do the work of figuring out the context of why they're even interacting as WELL as having to figure out how to draw Wander

I enjoy pretty much all Peepers pairings, rarepair or not, I'm not picky and I WILL post other pairings one day, but life and my own OC projects don't leave a lot of time for fanart unfortunately

Awwww anon this is so sweet I'm !!!!!!!!! aaa I don't know what to say!! When it comes to art I actually mostly do my own OC projects rather than fanart on my main, so coming back to this old sideblog and doing WOY rarepair art again and getting such sweet responses to my art feels strange but super rewarding! I can't promise that I'll be active consistently since I tend to post art and then disappear again for months… or years, but I love and appreciate any attention my art gets!
