Relationship Rules!
I was conversing with a friend of mine regarding his relationship with his girlfriend recently. They both say they love each other and that they’re in love. He was telling me how he is going through a rough time financially and is in between jobs. His girlfriend asked him if he could assist her with paying her rent for this month. She was only short $100. He told her that he is also facing difficulties paying his own rent and wouldn’t be able to help her this month. She said okay and the conversation ended.
The next day he asked her about the rent being paid and she said that she had already paid it and that everything is alright. He knew that she was having trouble coming up with the money so he asked where she got the extra money from. She said that she asked her son’s Father for the money. He was very upset, as he should be! Ladies... don’t EVER ask the next man for help! Period!
1.It makes it look like your man is less than a man
2. It gives the other man the upper hand in dealing with her
3. It’s the ultimate sign of disrespect
4. Your man’s pride and ego will probably never recover from such an act
Aside from that, she wasn’t even going to tell him. He had to ASK in order to find out. He’s much older than his girlfriend so he might be able to chalk it up to her being young and just not knowing but that’s no excuse if you ask me.
Fake Love
Be careful who you date and pay attention to their behavior. Many people engage in what’s known as “Fake Love”. Fake Love is where you pretend to be genuinely in love with a person, when in actuality, you’re only doing this to receive the benefits of the other party actually loving you.
People who engage in fake love will exhibit certain behaviors of someone who is really in love. Pay close attention though! You’ll see that the behavior exhibited is only convenient for them. For instance, they’ll come by to see ONLY when they are in the vicinity, or they’ll willingly give to you when they have a surplus but NEVER when it’s their last.
Real love travels when it’s not convenient or logical. Real love gives it’s last. Real love is crazy. To be in love is actually to be crazy. Be on the lookout and guard your hearts.
The addiction is real...
How To Be A Side Chick
Get out if you're not happy. Nobody said being a side chick was the easiest thing in the world. If you really like the guy while knowing he's seeing someone else and don't want things to get too serious, then fine. However, it's hard to be a side chick for long before you get fed up with the situation and want something more; if you're feeling upset and frustrated, there's no need to fake being "cool" with everything when you're not. It's simple. If it's not for you, get out. If you're a side chick who wants to keep up a relationship with a guy who has a Main, then you have to know the rules of the game. You can't expect the relationship to be more than what it is: a way for both of you to have a good time and not worry about where the relationship is going. The second you start to question your status as a mistress or ask for something more, all of the fun will be over. So if you want to be a good side chick, you have to stop stressing out and learn to have a good time with your man -- and if you find that you can't have fun, then you've gotta get out.
1. Give him space. Don’t always be the first to text him or seek him out. Give him breathing room. He doesn't want to have more than one wife/girlfriend/significant other. He already has one of those, and your job is to be something different. You have to be fun, and not get all up in his space. You have a right to do your own thing just as much as he has a right to do his. Go out with your girlfriends. Have a good time. Don't worry about checking in with him every five minutes or he'll start to think you want something more.
2. Keep things interesting. When he texts you, keep the conversation interesting. A side chick's main responsibility is to keep things fun and exciting. Giving him short answers and acting uninterested will make him wish he was playing Words with Friends instead -- or even just hanging out with his Main. Tell him funny stories; ask how he's feeling; surprise him. Do whatever you've gotta do to keep things exciting, as long as it feels natural.
3. Refrain from having “The Talk”. Having the "What are we doing? Where is this going?" talk will push him away. You have to know your lane. You’re his side chick; the end. Yeah, some side chicks do end up as mains, but this is much more rare than you may think. If your thing is all about hooking up, then there's no need to overwhelm your guy with serious conversation. This will lead you to a time out.
4. Go with the flow. There should never be a reason to get into a disagreement with him. That's the main's responsibility. A side chick should always be cool and should never be one who stresses him out. You are his vacation, his time off, his break from problems with the Main. If you start bickering, criticizing him, or complaining about everything you do together, he'll start to wonder why he got with you in the first place.
5. Don't ask questions. This should be a no brainer. You can’t ask "Where were you," "Why didn’t you call me," "Why are you always so busy," "Why don’t you ever see me," "Who were you on the phone with," etc., if you expect to keep the relationship going. These are not side chick questions. You got yourself into this situation, and there's no point in acting jealous or surprised when you already knew the score getting into it.
6. Don't try to spend holidays or birthdays with the guy. If he cares enough, he might celebrate these events with you the day after or before, but for the most part, don’t expect anything like a gift or acknowledgment. These days are saved and reserved for the Mains, and it may be safe to text him to wish him a happy New Year/Christmas/birthday, but a phone call should not be made. And as for Valentine's Day, you can pretty much bet that he'll be spending it with his main.
7. Let him get in touch with you first. He's the one having the affair, so unfortunately, he has to call the shots. If he wants to get in touch with you, he'll send you a text or he'll call you. If you try to call or text him, then you could be putting him in an awkward situation because he may be with his main. This is especially true at night; don't try to call or text him late at night, or his Main may see your phone message and things could get ugly.
8. Always look your best. As a side chick, always be on point. You're not his girlfriend, and shouldn't be hanging out with him in sneakers and sweats. If you want to find a guy you can get comfortable with, then you can look for a boyfriend. The fact of the matter is that the guy will expect you to look your best if you're his side chick. Nobody said it was an easy job.
9. Let him think he’s the only one. You don’t want him to think you get down like this, even if you do. You're already a side chick; you don’t want him to think you’re seeing other guys, too. But if you are seeing other guys, then so what? You have every right to do what you want; he didn't put a ring on your finger, did he? ***Keep your Facebook clean. Don't let him see lots of pictures of you with a bunch of other guys***
10. Don't obsess over the Main. Honestly, if you want to stay happy, then ignorance is bliss, and you should avoid researching the Main or thinking about her too much. The more you know about the Main -- what she looks like, what she does for a living, what her name is -- the more annoyed you'll be about your man seeing someone else. You may start getting obsessed with the Main, overly jealous, and getting into stalker mode, and that is just not something you want for your sanity. *Side Note: If you start bringing up the Main to the guy, or asking questions about her, he won't want to continue the conversation.
The real reason why men cheat... simplified!
What is with this whole side chick movement? Why are so many men winning?
Great question... The side chick movement was created by women. 95% of side chicks KNOW that they're side chicks and they accept it. Side chicks mentality is, "I'd rather have a piece of a man, as opposed to no man at all". I don't think men are necessarily winning but they're just taking advantage of a social trend. Especially in a city like Atlanta where the ratio of women to men is 5:1. Most men love the whole side chick situation because the rules and boundaries are understood upfront and there's little misunderstanding. They can enjoy an exclusive sexual relationship with someone they're highly attracted to and still be able to keep home happy. This comes from our ability to be able to successfully separate sex from emotion. Hope this answers your question.

Silent Treatment
One thing I never understand was how women dealt with being hurt, upset or disappointed at something that their spouse or significant other has done. Women typically deal with these feelings by going silent. They stop communicating with the man. Thinking that "if I give him the cold shoulder, he will eventually straighten up". This tactic is especially utilized when you have a couple who live with each other. What women fail to understand is that this type of behavior only creates more difficulties and division within the relationship and pushes the man further and further away. I've often said that ALL men will cheat given the right circumstance. I still stand by that assertion. What better circumstance does a man need other than, "my girl ain't talking to me, giving me affection, or stroking my ego". Please believe that if you're not talking to him, stroking his ego, giving him physical affection, asking him about his day, inquiring about his ambitions... that someone else is doing it OR will be doing it soon.
The solution to this is simply TALK. Don't hold grudges. If you want to know something, ASK. Women tend to become offended because their man didn't voluntarily include or tell them about something that they feel they should have been included in. The real question is "why did he feel like he couldn't or shouldn't have included me"? Questions like that rarely get asked because the answer just might scare you. If you create an environment for a man to be able to speak his mind freely without fear of judgement or criticism, you'll be amazed at what you can learn about him.
More to come...
What is your advise for someone who would like to get a gift for another and they have no trust is what will be bought?
I'm not sure I understand your question. Am I providing advice for the person buying the gift or the one receiving? A gift is a privilege and is a reflection of what someone thinks about you. I would advise the person receiving the gift to be grateful no matter what he/she receives. I would advise the person giving the gift to take his/her time in selecting a gift and give it with love, not expecting anything in return.
What is your advice for someone who is in love with two people at one time? How would you choose?
That’s a great question. You really have to ask yourself, what led to you falling out of love with the first person? I truly believe that you can love two people, BUT you cannot be IN LOVE with two people. If your heart allowed you to drift towards another person and there are no binding commitments, then chose the second person. Make your choice and don’t look back.

The Japanese say you have three faces. The first face, you show to the world. The second face, you show to your close friends, and your family. The third face, you never show anyone. It is the truest reflection of who you are.
