Do you have the Tomy ponytail/rapidash figures? I had those and the seel/dewgong and foolishly let my “friend” “borrow” them in kindergarten and never saw them again ),: now the ponyta and rapidash are worth so much but I miss them for the nostalgia and they were my little friends ),:

Funny enough, I has just pulled them out to repack them. I've had mine since I was a kid as well. They were gifts from my Granny c:

One time some kids "borrowed" one of my toys during naptime and I woke up to it completely destroyed. Rough lesson to learn at 4-5 years old. I never trusted the little bastards since >:[

I jest, but the lore and original acquisition of Rockruff and Lycanroc implies they were endangered or near extinction. However, they're now found in the wild all over Paldea and Kitakami. I like to think the newer figures are inspired by the tamed versions of the species or ones that were bred with other Pokémon in the same egg group to repopulate them, while the older figures were inspired by the wild population in Alola.

I try not to collect like I'm in a rush but sometimes things just line up were 15 figures I've been searching for pop up in the same week for like $2.

Which kirin figures did you end up picking up?

I've just got these two atm! The Kaiyodo one I've had for several years and the Schleich I just got last week! I'd love to get a Monster Hunter one one day, there's a lot of them so it's hard to pick!
