for the first time in my life ive designed outfits for my 6 year old OC. can you imagine? he could be goin to kindergarten and ive never dressed him. im a bad parent :(

active here is also his generic/casual/normal/default outfit. its the one he’d be wearing most often because its comfortable and versatile fancy is how I’d imagine denizens of his specific home-biome, the Forest Biome, (the universe is split into a handful of worlds we call “biomes” because each one has very different landscapes) to be dressing for celebrations or parties. I imagine they’d wear very floral, vibrantly colored clothing that is eye catching and shiny. normally folks who live in this biome would likely dress more drab in order to blend in and stay hidden because the forest biome is a dense, dark, and foreboding forest that is basically impenetrable; but celebrations let folks let their guard down and be more conspicuous together. andras’ personality is also kind of dark, so even this outfit is probably not as colorful as his neighbors may prefer to wear. snow is of course warm and good for camouflage for a dark skinned character. andras is an assassin and prefers to be inconspicuous, both from his profession and from the culture of his home-biome. he’d need to be pretty well swaddled in pale clothing to feel comfortable in the snow, such as when he’d visit the mountain biome which is generally in a perpetual blizzard.

I made a bunch of different outfit designs! I’m planning on making five each for the main characters. One casual, one fighting, one fancy, and two free ones. This was fun and easy up until that last one, then it was fun and challenging! This world is fun because we can use fashion from any point in time before about 1000AD across cultures.

Now for Syne! Syne is a little complicated because she didn’t become a deity as a baby like everyone else. So her aging is a little different. 

I had a lot of fun with her hair. The third one is (attempted) vestal virgin hair style. Lots of complicated braids.  Syne is from ancient greece (about 400 BC) so it’s fun to research ancient greek hairstyles and clothes for her.

this all started with me remembering i did a sketch of what aimi and andras would look like in the modern day (about 1300 years old) and then turned into a furious search through my sketchbooks that ultimately ended in me never finding the original sketch. So. Here is the first of the “hair timeline” of ccl characters, since that’s the best way to tell what arc/time the character is in.
