I GOT A VULTURE CULTURE QUESTION!
gonna tag some people who may know but if anybody knows or has ideas please lmk, also sorry but don’t have pics at the moment cause it is dark and my phone hates dark
but today we bought this old clothing item! it’s two mink pelts that seem to be in still very good condition, my first thought upon seeing them in the antique store was that it was a stole, but they’re sewn together at a few points along their bodies which ive never seen before- one connecting the necks, the backs, and the bottoms of the pelts. they’ve got what look to be glass eyes, and they’re cased and garment tanned.
does anybody know why they’re paired like that and what their intended use was? they’re soooo soft and warm, and i wouldn’t mind still using them as cold as it is if the leather is still holding well, which it seems to be, but im….not sure how to wear them lol.

Hello how describing I'm guessing it looks sort of like if you Google "vintage mink stole" with them having around 3+ mink with faces and eyes and tied in together. That was draped around the shoulders. It was more so a fashion type during the early 1900s with people viewing furs as a high placement with the comfortable life.
Your new find may of had more but was lost with over time, I. Sure you can drape over your neck and stay warm that way Is there a clip on one of their under mouths?
