funny enough i still think about it at least twice a week, it was my last big creative project i feel i did a somewhat decent job with. i don't really have a way to make digital art anymore (at least not the way i used to) but one of these days if i buy myself a tablet or something i do want to draw again. who knows what that would look like

but yeah this made my entire day THANK YOU lol insane to me that things i made when i was like 16 continue to exist

#ultimately that comic was born out of the horrible living situation i had at the time #there was so much more i wanted to do with it #it was the only real venting outlet i had for the stuff i was going through at the time and it helped me a lot to focus on it honestly #what ended up happening was i got a job and i got into university and now i've left that house a long far way behind #so much better off and more sane as a person now. i've been on t for 18 months and i had top surgery in january which has been amazing #my gf and i have our one year anniversary in a few weeks #t4t is a beautiful thing genuinely #and i'm two years into a double-major engineering degree so yeah that plus working to live takes ALL of my time #also i'm 20 years old which is INSANE never thought i'd live to see it #but yeah they're all right when they say it gets better. it absolutely does

Ya know when people told me "when you're finally safe enough that you can leave survival mode and start to let go of and process your c-ptsd/trauma things are probably going to get really, really bad before they slowly start to get better" I thought that was reasonable. I did not understand that by "things are going to get bad" they meant "you're going to find yourself in the worst mental state of your entire life, but dw, that means it's working" and tbh I simply wish someone had been more clear.
