Chase figured he may need to start getting out more often. Perhaps times were changing faster than he thought and he simply wasn’t keeping up. “Well, forgive my rudeness. I am not from around here and I am not familiar with the norm of many regions.”
And yet there was still the odd smell he was picking up from her. Though, considering her weird appearance, he just chalked it up as some strange perfume for now.
“That’s alright, no offense taken.” She nodded at the man. In a way, she could relate to what he had explained, herself was still learning of...social norms and behavior of humans in general, it’s not easy, is it?·

“She is.---That’s actually how my parents’ first date went, heh...” A faint smile graced the goth’s expression. Of course, her mom did try to eat her dad at some point during the date BUT in the end she didn’t and now, wasn’t that romantic? Creepie thought it was. “Uh, me? Not really, I’ve never been on many dates anyway so...” About two dates, and one of them only because she thought the person was half tarantula.
I tell my best secrets only to people I know I can trust. Otherwise the secret becomes a rumor just like that.

“I have more than a few at home, actually..:” Her uncle and a few thousand cousins. Amazingly so, a genuine chuckle came out of the goth. It was a first, maybe, that she met someone who had managed to make her laugh so quickly and naturally. A rather ...pleasant anomaly.

“Yes… certainly.” Really, a young girl shouldn’t be making Chase feel this way. Something was definitely off. “Tell me, young one. Where exactly do you hail from? …You’re at least from this planet, right?”
It was a bold accusation to make, he knew. But this girl was perhaps one of the strangest things he’ seen in a long time. The hair, the clothes, the make-up… It was stranger than what Jack Spicer frequently wore, and that guy was weird beyond all belief.
