Seriously, though, that last Owl House episode was kind of a storytelling miracle, wasn’t it? In the space of 22 minutes, we got major climaxes/turning points for the character arcs of all three protagonists, important backstory and lore revelations that also raise even more mysteries (who was that shadow person in Eda’s dream?), hints at major plots developments to come with King’s dad and Amity helping with the echo mouse, some of the darkest angst and some of the sweetest fluff this show’s had yet, the main ship freaking confirmed, none of which feels rushed or underbaked… and it’s all built around a funny Hooty filler episode.

When did this show get so fucking powerful.

Drarry Post War

• Harry is constantly living in fear. He hasn't found a job yet, despite the countless auror offers. He can't be in combat anymore. After the war, fighting just triggers him. Constant danger triggers him. He can't keep relying on Draco. As much as he loves him, the rent should be a mutual thing. The food should be a mutual thing. Everything should be mutual

• Draco on the other hand managed to snag a well paying wizard modeling job. It's stressful, but it's the only job that he can think of that wouldn't put him in any sort of danger

• So when Harry comes home from trying to find a job he might like, he showers and starts dinner, waiting for Draco to come home in about an hour

• When Draco walks through the door, he hugs Harry from behind, and just stays there. His eyes are closed, his breathing is calm, and he smells like whatever he's advertising next

• Harry doesn't turn or kiss him, he just says, "Good evening, Darling." And continues making dinner.

• When dinner is ready, Harry turns around and kisses Draco's forehead, and he wraps Draco's arms around his waist and they dance for a little. Not a long time, just a few minutes, before Draco decides he's hungry

• Draco and Harry sit across each other and talk. Not about their day, not about their past, but their plans. Are they going shopping this weekend? When do Pansy and Hermione want them over?

• Harry and Draco love each other. They say it in between jokes, in between debates, in between when Harry stuffs his face like a glutton. Whenever possible

• As they get ready for bed, Harry slides his hands in Draco's hair, messing it up just a little. There's no reason for it, not that Draco minds. Harry doesn't know why he does it either, but it comforts him

• Draco attaches himself to Harry while they sleep. His legs wrap around his waist and his arms are all on his torso. Harry's snores make him shuffle around, but no matter how many times he readjusts, he's always touching Harry

• When they wake up in the morning, Harry kisses Draco on the lips, humming at how soft they are. He goes in for another one just as Draco wakes up. Draco pulls Harry closer, both ignoring the morning breath

• When they eat breakfast, it's silent. Draco likes it that way. It gives him time to think. The silence comforts him and let's him just be him

• Draco and Harry need time to fully register what's been happening for the past year, but when it does, it scares them both. Old scars, physical and emotional, haunt them both for a long time
