how non-writers think writing works: creating a detailed outline and plan, writing each section carefully and weaving in all the different story threads like a master creator, expertly creating a masterpiece with care and precision

how writing actually works: daydreaming that one scene, creating a half-formed plot in a daze all around it, swearing at characters that don't magic themselves into existence, becoming absolutely obsessed with the story for a solid week, it becomes your entire life, you sit down open a blank word document and write approximately two and a half chapters, lose interest, daydream an entirely new idea for a new story, rinse and repeat

Im changing my career path!!! Im going to open a jazz bar and do cinematographer on the side, I've debated medical stuff or even forensics science as a photographer! Im learning a bunch of new stuff im officially started 3 current books and been makeing good progress. Life is crazy.

You know when you look up your favorite character cause u wanna read about them and then you see a Fanfic, and through weary glances you click on it, only for it to be a y/n x (insert character)... and even worse if it has an NSFW photo on it (this happened to me, I'm scared)

So I’m not very good at crafting theories but I’ll share few of my thoughts with this then I’m heading to bed. I do like Amelia and Miranda together. My friend and I accidentally made siren Malcolm a thing (don’t ask it’s a long story or maybe I’ll explain in a different post yeah I’ll explain in another post) and yeti by Paris Paloma gives me Malcolm and Julian vibes more toward the platonic side of the spectrum because I’m obsessed with the line gentle apathy and idk why and I never thought I wouldn’t care about you. I just have trouble putting stuff into words

Okay, I’m just going to explain about the Siren Malcolm thing here. It’s kinda cringe so be forewarned about that.

My ex (still friends) and I were talking about Malcolm on discord and I brought up the idea of sirens because we do know Malcolm has powers at least according to Julian about persuasion (at least that’s the way I interpreted it but I also trust Julian about as far as I can throw him) for reference look up Andy’s second voicemail to Malcolm (I believe it’s the second one he sent) and we got to talking about it and thus Sirens Malcolm was born.
