i saw a post earlier today and now i canât find it but someone was like the only reason i get through studying is by saying âletâs go steal a gradeâ where they just imagine theyâre doing research for a leverage con and they have to know all the information to pull it off successfully. Iâm at my internship rn and i found the original score for the og show and redemption and let me tell you i have never been more productive
@imaginable-horror you are an inspiration đđŤĄ

Eliot & Hardison arguing over who should sit in the middle
Welcome to the Leverage Fan Events blog, dedicated to hosting Leverage-themed fan events and community activities throughout the year! We'll be kicking off with the first official event in December (details to follow). We look forward to encouraging more fanworks and engaging in them ourselves! Until then, weâll be here, so feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions, either by messaging this account or one of the mods.
One thing weâd like to do with the blog is start conversations about the show with Community Prompts, which are just questions about the show we invite yâall to answer. In celebration of new beginnings, we thought weâd start with an easy one: How did you first discover/get into Leverage?
Leverage 5x4- "The French Connection Job"
kind of want to ask where eliot even got the idea to play a shy awkward guy with a Thing for women in uniform kind of don't want to hear the answer
he probably is getting better at grifting by this point - not that he didn't already rock the power negative vibes - but this is before sophie started coaching him on like. the first contact job role and such.
a nice safe bet is just that his go-to grift with women is flirting and he worked with what he had (she's in uniform) (he's gotta find an opening somehow) (he's buying time) and I am sticking my fingers in my ears at any further suggestions la la la
#like it might also be a private joke he's having with himself because the night has been rather silly so far #hardison's insisting on doing all the eliot jobs to prove a point of some kind #is eliot doing a little joke at hardison's expense or is he just having fun because he's not on comms for once #the possibilities they are cute and they are fun and eliot is absolutely more of a dork than he claims.
I don't really see it being a logical joke at Hardison's expense, i.e., a "oh, you're going to do my job (poorly), so I'll do your job (exaggeratedly)," because 1) he didn't go overtly "nerdy," 2) Hardison is definitely not shy about guns--he is way more eager to handle guns than he should be, and 3) I don't recall Hardison ever indicating he was into women in (cop) uniform?
...Which kind of leaves me with the logic of "Shit, Hardison's out playing hitter; therefore, I must distract this person and not be in any way threatening/seem like a hitter so I don't raise suspicions. What is the polar opposite of hitter?" and concluding that the opposite of a hitter = painfully shy, awkward, and enamored with legal authority figures. Resulting in the same general power-negative grift approach Eliot often goes for when he's not trying to overtly play the intimidating muscle, but dialed up to 11 (or rather, down to -11 đ).
that logic definitely works.
I confess I saw it less specific than "I'm gonna play hardison because he's playing me" and more like "if he's gonna make a fool of himself tonight, I'm gonna dial up the dork vibes in his honour."
which... actually sort of is what you're saying, or in the rough vicinity of it, just a teensy bit meaner. :D
(and I always felt eliot's wonderful little face journey at the gun offer was him being genuinely wrong-footed and giving an honest answer before he can get himself back on track again. if nothing else, it's funnier to me if he really was startled out of the grift for a moment.)

Breanna: I can loop in more help from the other teams. Parker: No time. Breanna: N- Eliot has a friend. Um... ( clicks tongue ) ...the, uh, the Quinn guy. Um, he's in Miami.
How are the Mr Quinn fans doing after the name drop in this week's episode?
6 hours; 2 of those were spent on this hair
more: parker / eliot
two (2) more hair thoughts to warm hearts and spark joy etc
â eliot having to spit hair out of his mouth mid-fight and briefly losing the advantage
â quinn losing basically his entire ponytail over the course of an hour and just having this hectic halo of blond curls and getting really affronted when it's pointed out
the show cuts away occasionally to quinn antics over the course of an episode, only every time there's more hectic blond fluff going on. he's fighting a guy he's hurriedly tying back his hair to charm a receptionist he's fighting mikel frikking dayan he's running for a busâ
#i do think that Hair Comes Out Of Ponytail Mid-Fight is designated as a Quinn Tragedy #(in the same category as Touched Denim or Out Of Tea or Received Papercut During Subpar Novella Experience) #just gradually increasing levels of pissy dishevelment with each cut back to his adventure :3 [via @darkfinch]
Polycule but itâs just two people in a romantic relationship with each other and their third whoâs pretty obviously aroace but also somehow so deeply intertwined in their lives that itâd just be wrong to not count them as involved. Is this anything.
How come Eliot Spencer never wears claw clips?
Actually, youâre not supposed to wear them while driving, because if youâre in a crash they can break and cut your scalp pretty badly, or even help cause a break! I would assume the same goes if you get hit in the back of the head with something other than a car headrest.
maybe when he's feeling safe and comfortable at home he wears them (an implicit sign of trust and that he truly feels safe and at ease)
