I think if there's something that could scare Caliborn, is an adult of his own species, since he seems to think every other living being is inferior, but one of his own, bigger and older than him would be a real menace.

In this scenario, he has no idea Calamity is his ancestor/mother and assumes she's here to obliterate him

According to the skaianet files, Calamity made no distinction between Cal and Callie, she saw them both as her offspring whose survival she needed to ensure, and most likely believes both evil and benign forces are equally necessary for balance, so she wouldn't harm Caliborn even if he ended up predominating and erasing his benevolent counterpart.

For people pointing out that he dived head first into the denizen lair on his solo session and shouldn't be scared of a grown cherub

the first time it was merely to have an audience (which he entered weapon in hand), where Yaldabaoth ofered him to either die right there and then and not doom everyone that came after, or play solo and most likely die during the game, and if he didn't, they would fight to death, and if he won, he would be mega inmortal. he chosed the solo game and won.

He didn't fought Yaldabaoth before he was armed and godtiered, because as much as he hated it, he wasn't strong enough when he first encountered him. And in this silly scenario, he has nothing but his bare fists and a mortal untrained body against a muscle wall
