HONESTLY i just think the swan queen hug discourse is so funny because, like…emma and regina have hugged every character they came across at some point or another (emma went and hugged milah gold ten seconds after meeting her, just ‘cause)…except each other…it’s been six years…they confide in each other constantly, refer to each other as family, hold hands, but they will! not! hug! lana and jmo tried to improvise a hug and the writers cut it out of the scene…and it’s great because the more they desperately avoid letting emma and regina hug, the more it looks like gay panic….
