Maggie is like Crowley and aziraphale is like Nina. Nina is trapped in her abusive relationship with Lindsay. Aziraphale is trapped in his abusive relationship with heaven. Lindsay eventually breaks up with nina. Maybe in s3 heaven will idk basically disown aziraphale. In season 2 Maggie waits for Nina to be ready to love again and heal. In s3 Crowley will wait for aziraphale to be ready to be with him.

The progression of Nina and Maggies relationship in season 2 will likely be mirrored in aziraphale and Crowley's in season 3.
