Jaliey headcanons if you have some???

MY OTP 🥹 i def have some to share

i dont think they are very fond of pda. most of their affection remains private

they start crushing at the end of junior year (jake) and summer before senior (hailey) so most of their romance takes place in senior year

they platonically tease eachother a lot, but if it’s romantic it’s usually initiated by hailey

they are best friends AND lovers. they don’t prioritize eachother over other people, but they just have a different kind of love :)

they have a pretty large height difference. 5’2” and 6’0”. hailey lovesss having jake just plop on top of her like yess the pressure! yess my gf is a weighted blanket!😚

hailey is weirdly good at flirting. she has zero romantic experience with the exception of an online relationship in 8th grade ..yet somehow it works??? jake is definitely someone who likes to be flirted with more than the one doing the flirting. however, if she does initiate flirting it’s usually physical.

jake just absolutely adores hailey. she’s her entire world. she’s practically the embodiment of music in jake’s life. she’s that special.. def her favorite person 🥹🥹🥹

hailey lures jake into 3 hour long convos about her fav games and shows. jake just nods along like she knows wtf hailey is talking about like “yessss girl keep talking about banshees (wtf is that) yesss!”

they broke up in sophomore year of college due to jake’s still undiagnosed bpd + hailey struggling with college pressure + hailey living out of state. hailey felt like there was too much going on in her life and that jake wasn’t helping. it was… hard for the both of them, but it didn’t last too long. they did eventually get back together!!!!

yes!!! i have TONS but i’ll say my main ones ☀️

to add onto tfem jake, in my hcs she’s bigender and a butch lesbian. i REALLY love butch jake because it allows her to reclaim her masculinity in a way that isn’t forced or to protect herself, it’s just her expression :)

she has undiagnosed bpd that developed from the harsh bullying and isolation she experienced as a kid, which goes undiagnosed until college. she also has insomnia that developed from sophomore year.

sophomore year was probably the worst time in her life. it was the peak of her bully and conformity era. self destructive behavior caused issues with her mom and milo, but mostly her mom. they would argue a lot over jake’s friends. eventually she did tone it down when junior year came, allowing room for her redemption

jake LOVESSS wearing her fav color (peach) and shades similar to it (orange, pink, red, & cream). i often design and draw her in tighter women’s shirts, button ups, and her signature senior year orange hoodie. her style is influenced by zander’s in my hcs, so she’s often in bootcut jeans !!

her hair gets curlier as time goes by because through tmc she learns to take care of it

she gets an eyebrow piercing and lovesss wearing all different kinds of silver jewlery

transfem jake has to be one of the best headcanons out there tbh

not only does it make sense for her character more than tmasc jake, it also adds more layers as to why she performs so much when shes with the dromies. she performs masculinity through who she surrounds herself with, she puts on this macho man persona with women, and her character design incorporates darker and cooler colors as she conforms.

jake joining the music club, a group with two canon queer members and in general have heavy queer allegories, is sooo important. when she’s with tmc she starts to open up and express emotions she never could with drew and the others. jake specifically expresses her passion for music, which i see as an allegory for her gender identity.
