What sort of foolishness was this?
A school of murder with no means of escape? How preposterous. There was Huntress training to be had, so why had Hope’s Peak Academy been her decision? Was it simply out of pride of being chosen? The heiress wasn’t quite sure it was pride that had compelled her- after all, her given title of ‘Super High School Level Heiress’ was the exact thing she didn’t wish to be dubbed for. Beacon Academy seemed to be a more beneficial choice, especially with this nonsense joke that the school seemed to be playing on her being a complete waste of time. They couldn’t exactly keep her trapped her forever. This is Weiss Schnee we’re talking about here.
Nevertheless, the heiress’s decision had been final, and unbeknownst to her, potentially grave. Yet, she would play along with this silly sport of ‘killing’ for the time being. Surely it was a bluff, anyways; it was probably some initiation that this school required.
Weiss strutted down the hallway, somewhat ticked that her entourage for some reason hadn’t been able to accompany her. Therefore, in both hands she carried a fairly large suitcase and a steel briefcase. The suitcase, of course, contained essential things, and the briefcase contained many different variants of Dust. In the end, she still planned to train- on her own terms, perhaps. Here she was searching for dorm 220, staring at the plates on doors rather than who approached in front of her. With little warning and with no chance to dodge, she slams right into another student, her cases dropping to her ground as she loses grip on them.
No, the heiress did not plan on greeting them with a pleasant ‘hello’ after this stunt, even though she was partially to blame. Her things could be potentially damaged thanks to this person.
"What do you think you’re doing? Don’t you know how to pay attention to where you’re going?!"
Things had been off to a rather odd start to say the very least. She had approached a rather promising school that hopefully would bolster her reputation as a budding huntress and ease herself into somewhere she swore she had intended to be. Sadly all she could draw was a blank. She'd meander the hallways a bit confused by the layout or what this school was. In fact the only vivid memory she had on call was being in a forest of some sort after blacking out in front of the school. Then fighting through a wave of those wicked creatures along side that Sakura girl. While she was on her mind she had hoped she got proper care for her injuries since they were quite grievous to say the least.
The deeper Ruby would wander the more lost she get and with nary a directory about it seemed more of a foregone conclusion of just where she would be presently. The most she could gather from her surroundings was being surrounded by doors going every which way and being numbered. It seemed more plausible to her that they might be dormitories of some sort. She'd hazard to knock, but being the new girl and really not knowing anyone she would shy away from that option. She wasn't what you would call fond of stepping outside of her comfort zones.
The best she could do was hope someone would open a door because she was not about to disturb a stranger in their own room even if it would be the most logical thing to do. She would amble about, but with no such luck to be had. The only thing she was learning that the dorm's hall ways were super long and winding. Just how many students and faculty lived her anyways? "This is just too unreal... with so many rooms there has to be at least a couple hundred people here.. And mutual killing? Pff. Sounds like the tagline to some cheesy B-horror flick." she'd give a roll of her eyes and begin to turn around to face forward once more.
However that would turn into a less than graceful choice as she had found herself tripping over a suitcase that fate somehow put in her way and caused her to stumble forward and fall along with the suitcases with a rather audible thud. "Oww...." she'd rub her head and look at the feet of the person standing before her. She was quick to conclude that it was likely the cases of this person. As she took in the snow white beauty her voice was anything but pleasant. In fact it was quite pitched from the fact that she was quite perturbed.
"Mnn .. Sorry about that..." she would speak with a vocalized regret as she stared back into the icy blue hues of the girl chiding her.

Things had taken a rather strange turn to say the least. She could recall little more than approaching a school after finding a flier. Something about an Academy of Hope or something. Needless to say the aspiring huntress did approach, but soon her world went white. It was a massive blur afterwards, but she had seemingly found herself in the midst of a forest that was most tranquil save for the occasional tremor over the past few days. Now things certainly had gone to hell in a hand basket with giants lumbering in the distance and monsters running amok.
The hooded female could hear the cries of innocents off in the distance and it didn't take much to realize why and thus little red had quickly taken off into a sprint to prevent any impending tragedies from occurring. She would take off as quickly as her thin legs could take her, which was surprisingly quick given her short stature. She was by no means athletic but by the way she would swiftly move about the debris and fallen branches this was clearly not her first rodeo nor first time facing danger. In fact this reminded her of the time she was stuck in a throw down with a pack of beowolves, however; there was far less human carnage then than there was now.
She would quickly made her way past the fallen hell beasts with the full intention of protecting whomever it was she heard at the center. Ruby would reach behind her back and bring out her crimson armament and with one well placed shot after another she would snipe down any stragglers that got in her way. At first the heard was very much thin and interspersed, but the closer she got the thicker things got. There was no way at this point with so many beasts she could take them on with a mere sniper rifle while on the run.
From under her hood her lips would tug upward with a confident smile as she flicked a mechanism on her gun and would begin to unfurl its self. Her grip would adjust and change as the once high caliber rifle had become a rather imposing looking scythe. "It's time for us to get to work Crescent Rose." A rather calmly statement was made to herself as she would pull back on the same trigger that remained from its previous form. And with an innocuous click a shot would ring out and be heard by any near by.
The girl would become much more swifter and would use the momentum to propel herself ahead of the beasts while using her blade to thin out the heard and get to the center at the end of the girls' proclamation. As she sliced her way in so did some stray limbs that she lopped off would fall by her as her hood fell to reveal a rather innocent and young looking face and most prominently a set of sterling silver eyes. Her voice was calm despite the chaos and she'd offer a hand to the redhead before her. "Looks like you could use some help, you look pretty messed up there. Just sit back and I'll take care of everything alright?" She would then ready herself into position and ready herself to strike from nearly any angle.
