This is it. This is it right here. I remember an ex in my early twenties egged me on until I cursed him the fuck out. He clapped and laughed, “oh there’s the real you that’s what I want to see”. No I wanted to be mature, I wanted to be loving, I wanted this to be different/better I’m not shocked that it didn’t last. I don’t like cursing, screaming, and hollering to communicate my feelings in anger and disgust. I know how sarcastic I can be, I know how hurtful I can be and how hurtful others can be to me. When I look back on my relationships and friendships a breakdown of it often occurred when there was a big argument out of anger. Best believe when someone raised their voice at me it was usually the last they saw of me forever or for a very long time. I always felt if I can bring that kind of vitriol out of you then we aren’t for each other then I get back “oh I’m just like that sometimes, I’ll get over it” then you should have kept that shit to yourself because it’s not conducive.
