Well tried Pakistan!!!
Commendable effort by Pakistan to defend a small total against mighty Australian Team. To get'em struggling at 4 wickets for less than 100 certainly raised hopes. Wahab Riaz deserves all the accolades that he got. Amazing spell of fast bowling. You earn Respect by how you play, and Pakistan did that. Sad that we can't see India v Pakistan semis.
7th in a Row for Jersey No.7
When Indians came out to bat they were up against a very spirited and passionate side of Bangladesh. Memories of 2007 nightmare were looming large for Indians. Also given the fact that Bangladesh ensured that they knocked England even before the quarter finals meant that they were determined to give their heart and soul to beat India and progress to Semis. Bangladesh bowled with great discipline and control during the first 35 overs and struck regularly to restrict Indians to under 5 runs per over. Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina were at crease trying to stabilize the innings after India had lost Dhawan, Kohli & Rahane. Dhawan played on to timber while Kohli fell chasing a delivery wide outside the off stump. Come power play and all hell broke loose as Raina started aggressive stroke play and Sharma protecting the fort from the other end. Bangladesh couldn’t even react to the onslaught and lost the plot. Tempers flying, arms waived in all directions and Captain losing his cool on youngsters. India managed a commanding 50 runs of the power play. Rohit went on to make a century and then unleashed his majestic stroke play. India ended up at 302 thanks to a superlative finish by rock star Jadeja who scored at a strike rate of more than 200. Some pretty ordinary fielding by opponents helped India’s cause. History does not help much on the D Day, but when it flashed on Television sets that no team has ever won at MCG chasing 300 it raised hopes of billions of Indians. At one point in time even 260 seemed a distant number, reaching 302 was a mean feat. Bangladesh came to bat in second innings against in form bowling trio of Yadav, Shami & Mohit, it was clear that the chase was going to be a hercules one. Slow bowlers put on the breaks and kept chipping away with the wickets. Bangladesh crumbled under pressure and was all out for 193 giving Indians a comfortable victory with Umesh Yadav picking up 4 wickets. 7th in a row (in CWC2015), 11th consecutive in ICC events and 100th over all for the Magician called MS Dhoni. An emphatic win by Team India who were not even given a chance before the start of the world cup due to their dismal show in Tri series. Indian Juggernaut is rolling and mighty Australians beat Pakistan today to set the date for Semis. Bring it on Aussies! See you in Sydney.

World Cup 2015

The God, The Temple & His Blessings.
And its 6-0
Superb victory by Team India against Pakistan in world cup Opener. Great news is that Virat, Shikhar & Suresh were amongst the runs while Shami & Umesh got bulk of wickets. Was entertaining to the core.
All the Best
CricketIndian wishes Team India all the Best for the world cup opening match!!!
