Brian and Sara Turner have been making posters for nearly a decade. In 2003, they started Cricket Press from a tiny studio in their home of Lexington, KY. Since then, they have created gig posters for hundreds of bands ranging from indie-rock to free-jazz, bluegrass to punk; as well as promotional work for events both local and national. Together they have created their own unique and quirky vision of the world, translating their characteristic illustrations through the hand-printed processes of letterpress and screen-printing. We were hired to design this bandana highlighting their bus routes across the city. We also created several other designs highlighting stops along these routes they will be using on a variety of merchandise. We will post those through the week! 50th Annual Bluegrass 10K

This is the first year we've designed three different designs!

Join us for the 50th annual Bluegrass 10,000, 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026! The Bluegrass 10,000 is a USATF-certified 10K course in downtown Lexington. The 5K is a shorter course using part of the 10K route which runs at the same time as the 10K. The Fun Run is a 1-mile course running through downtown, into Thoroughbred Park, and joining with the Bluegrass 10,000 for the finish. The races kick off the day’s Fourth of July festivities.

National Parks & Rec Month

July is National Parks & Recreation Month. The month is one of the busiest times of the year for Lexington Parks & Recreation, with summer camps in full swing and numerous events and programs each week. For the third year, each Friday of the month a different local business will celebrate and feature a collaborative release, with a portion of proceeds going toward planting trees in local parks.
