Something that really hit me in the feels as I watched AOR after the movie was the way dreamfasting was presented. Like how in episode 1, dreamfasting is this personal, intimate moment between Rian and Mira and in general is just super important to all Gelflings. Especially since, from what I've read, it was taught to them by Aughra - the very embodiment of Thra.

When Jen and Kira dreamfast in the movie, they do so by accident - and this ability was so important to their people, almost lost because of the skeksis and the Garthim War. If I remember correctly, Jen didn't even know what was happening, Kira had to explain it to him. If they'd never met or if one of them hadn't survived, this part of their history, of Thra's history, would have been lost forever, along with the rest of the Gelflings.

There's so many things in the movie that are just made 10x worse/better (depending on your view) after watching AOR netflix I will never forgive you.
